In terms of your question if fighting the starting camp is worth it for the one level: That first level is worth SO MUCH. It gives you around 40+ stat points compared to every other level that gives around 9-12 stat points. The difference between level 1 and level 2 is DOUBLE your stats.

Parry Character: Doesn't Parry
Shield Character: Doesn't Block
Bow Character: Doesn't Shoot

It hurts my heart not seeing this man focus on using the characters actual strengths

Recently I got addicted to your vids, thanks for the entertainment

watching this man not use the deflect is gonna give me an aneurysm

This guy is very quickly becoming my favourite Elden Ring YouTuber

present day me watching this and him saying the cursed sword is useless is so painful

32:23 So, from what I understand, the buff actually takes into account your previously seen graces, and it caps out at 10 graces. Not sure what the total damage buff equals, but when my friends and I were playing, we could see Morgott's buff in our stat screen, and it had a little 10 next to it.

I agree with you that the rarity of Shifting Earth is dumb. They literally have a built-in way to cancel one if you don't like it, so there's absolutely no reason they can't be common. Make them pop up frequently. You can just sleep if you don't want it.

Gotta say, it's pretty disappointing to keep seeing these really good Elden Ring players ignore 50% of Guardian's kit (the steel guard and charged guard counters) just because they don't like to use shields, and then say they don't like the character as a whole. It'd be like trying to force strength weapons on executor and then saying he's weak because your DPS is low

Guardian has problems, but "a bad dodge" isn't one of them if you play him right. Use your shield and steel guard, and unless the boss/enemy is heavily magic based you'll a hard time taking any damage at all.

10:25 not sure if you’ve learned or not already, I also haven’t watched the rest of the video, but “character’s grief” actually buffs two of your scalings based on that characters highest scalings, and it can stack with other griefs too. It’s nice if you don’t have another option or need to make something else work, I think it’s really good for Duchess since all her scalings are pretty mid.

I know it’s 2 days late, but I can’t just take Executor slander lying down. It’s incredibly smooth to use if you know how. Both the drawing and sheathing of the cursed sword has parry frames, meaning you can draw it and parry an attack, deflect a few more, then sheath it on the last bit of a boss’s combo and start damaging with your main weapons. That plus the ash of war on the cursed sword provides brief immunity.

Its so painful seeing you ignore some characters' entire kit like executor without deflecting amd recluse without magic cocktail...

1:27:20 for evergoal strategy always always spawn them on day 1, even if you dont have enough to fight a touch boss, they will stay half health on day 2 and give you good drops

Fun tip with recluse, if you use her ult you can spam stars of ruin, and you wont run out of fp for 13 seconds. Drains bosses when you can, but fun gameplay.

peak cinema yet again

Just recently found your videos where you beat Elden ring with only upgrading one stat, glad youre doing nightreign stuff! Keep it up :)

Hearing that Gnosis was likely your biggest hurdle on 1st kill made me QUITE happy to hear, as I very slowly make my way through this vid and reach their portion in this challenge

I only just beat the game and was trying to not watch any nightreign content until done, so this is a welcoming first nightreign video for me

I have been waiting for this video since you announced on your post
