If you think you might be trans the best course of action is to speak with a therapist, just to set if there are any underlying issues and to make sure you will not regret transition in your future. It's not a simple start and stop medications. Hormones are very serious medications, not only because of the physical effects, but there are mental effects as well. It's not a trend, its not a fun thing to try, it's a very serious life change and shouldn't be taken lightly.

This information is so important for everyone, trans or no.    It is also very important the way you present this as your experience, and not the experience for everyone.  I think your channel probably does an awful lot to reduce true hate if trans people.  We usually only hate what we truly don’t understand.  And yeah I know, there will always be haters and haters gonna hate.  But you are so genuine, so authentic I can’t imagine anyone thinking you’re one of the so-called trans-trenders that so many love to hate.  You are a much needed breath of air!  Thank you!

Hi Alexis, I also love Dr Z., she is amazing. Omg, I remember my first steps in social transitioning. A dress, makeup, and wig, I wanted this so badly. Girl it was a train wreck. I still cringe thinking about how terrible I looked, but how happy I was. Now I work at Sephora and help women of all ages with their beauty needs. If my old self could see me now, LoL. i knew i was trans after turning 18 but after counselling and the doctor telling me that transition would be the way to help with my gender dysphoria i was terrified ... so much that i tried living as a guy for 20 more years ... well ..  didnt work out in the end .. started transitioning when i turned 40 and i could not be happier, i know i should have done it earlier but ther was so much fear inside me i just could not.

I was the same way as a kid, I would always gravitate towards the females in my family and what they liked, except I'm a homosexual man. It seems like a common thing for both feminine homosexual men and trans women.

That was great how you explained it all.  Q. Do you agree with children being taught this at a young age by schools & parents not knowing. More the language  gender fluid, non binery etc. Do you personally think that its confusing for a child of 8 to be taught this & to keep it a secret from parents when it isnt part of the curriculum? Alexis i like you & the way you explain things. You had a therapist who took the time to actually be a therapist. Your helping youth & making a difference.

I have to say this, I’m not disagreeing with what your saying but as a woman in my 40s, I’m a tomboy. I hate most girl toys, dresses etc growing up I turned a dolls pram into a tank. Anything girly made me uncomfortable and still does in a way, i only learnt about makeup and hairstyles because of my daughter, but saying all of that I love being a wife and mother and I still am a complete tomboy who is still uncomfortable with parts of my body! I just wanted to put this here to show that not everything is one or the other you can have the weird ones like me too lol x
