This is a beam of light in times of upcoming darkness. Consciousness will definitely have a different meaning after COVID19. Thank you so much. Greetings from Brazil!
Professor Stein is a constant source of wisdom and inspiration, and it is always such a pleasure to hear him speak. There are not too many people around any more whom I would consider true Jungian analysts, so I really appreciate your interviews with some of them, Dr. Carpani. Each brings their own perspectives to the subject of Jung and his theories, so listening to these doctors of psychology in your interviews and elsewhere is an ongoing education for me. Thank you and thank you dear Professor Stein.
We have not and will not learn. Self-interest stops that. There are consequences to our actions and we are not interested in giving up our comfort to diminish the consequences of our actions.
Well, it's 2022 and it's obvious no conclusions have been drawn and nothing'll change. Back to happy consumption with even more entitlement than could be thought possible.
I loved listening to a Jungian's perspective on what's going on. I know what one of the other comments talked about how Hollis is full of great insight in every sentence. I don't disagree but I find Stein to be so personable and real. His thoughts and feelings about the direction we are going and how he expressed that in plain language just filled me with love for him.
Where is the jungian perspective here? What does that "unvisible enemy" represent? What did we as collective reject in ourselves, that manifested itself in this pandemic form? The more we feed the state of war with our fear and attention, the more it will grow. Every cure and protection is first born inside ourselves.
I don't really find Murray Stein's interviews that interesting. I haven't read his books, perhaps his writing is better. Compare to James Hollis: every single sentence has so much wisdom and depth, it's astounding. But thank you both anyway, it's all needed and valuable.
