I think he is hands-down the best comedian of my lifetime. I am 60. He had spot-on timing, incredible material, and zero fear. Part comedian, part prophet for sure.

The more Carlin you watch, the more you see his pattern. He always starts out with simple, crude, sometimes offensive humor. It's to shock the audience and get their attention. Then he moves into ridiculously over the top jokes to get people laughing. Once he has them hooked, he pivots to his deeper, more serious and philosophical material. He was a master at engaging an audience and crafted his routines with razor sharp accuracy to get his message out. He was a legend. Glad to see people still discovering and appreciating him. 🥰

Yeah I think George when calling the country a "shopping mall", is that instead of maintaining the landscape as much as we can, we've commercialized everything, polluted the air, the water. Homeless camps everywhere. Even Christmas is purely business, and no longer a sacred holiday. Everything is commercial, and we've over-populated the land with stores and factories, tearing down forests in the interest of money. I know this is obvious, but just wanted to throw my two cents. :)

"Wow" this is scary. This is exactly what' happening now. George Carlin was way ahead of his time.

Amazing legacy George created for himself. He is still teaching today and it's landing. This message has HUGE relevance to what we're doing today. So much of his content is more relevant now than it was when he recorded these bits. RIP, big man. Wake up, 'Merica or we are RIP as well.

Carlin was a creative comedian as well as a philosopher and a truthteller. That was in 2005 when he did this comedy special. Carlin was 100% percent accurate

George was a legend. He was almost poetic with his comedy

What I like about you is that you use your brains.
It's nice to see you listen to wise people, not idiots.
Greetings from Poland.

Comedy with realness to it. Carlin was always one of my favorites. He did not have time for BS. He called it out whenever he saw it. And there is a lot of BS in our politics.

The 2nd half is always the best! People in real time, realizing they are getting schooled by a guy that said this decades ago. And it's 100 times worse now!
