Kano hasn’t dropped anything for nearly 5 years and just slides straight to it like he’s never been away 🐐

Precisely what i said when this graced my eardrums this week: We really don't get enough Kano x Ghetts... I had to wheel it up just to clock precisely when Kane picked up from where Ghetts left off. These two out here with the seamless baton pass in a 4x4 relay... Cast my mind back to class of deja when they damn near analgated dragonball fusion style... Following that up is a tall order, but wretch is no third wheel in this masterpiece... However cue third, fourth, fifth wheel up.

I don’t know if you caught it but Kano’s “Souvenirs/ Sue Veneers” line was crazy 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Trappers turned traders watching the stocks. Best line

I’m not smart enough to get all the bars but I’m smart enough to know I’m listening to greatness. This is so good it’s spiritual

When Wretch said "The Colour Purple" and "The Woman King" he was talking about the films, i.e. about depicting the black experience.

It was a lack of TLC ( the band ) that made me CREEP ( their song) don’t let that go over head Levi 😅

"If you knock their turkey teeth out I bet the lawyers wanna souvenirs/sue veneers" flew over my head for too long

It’s like a farm…..SO MANY GOATS 🐐

@lovebuildsupcrafts1620 2 years ago

Wretch 32 is so clever!! He went from the colour purple, to talking about rain (Prince’s greates sing Purple rain) to then referring to himself as a prince! Waaaaa!!

There's not a single UK rapper I place over Kano, I'm sorry. He is the GOAT and it isn't even close.

How’s no one else reacted to this, one of the best hip hop songs of 2024

TLC has a song called Creep

Man goes to Lee Vi for the realest reaction he gets it

"Growing up all my bruddahs wanted to be filthy rich, I went legit and got a sanitized fortune." - Pure filth. Ghetts is preaching.

@OneBadJamaicanyute 2 years ago

Ghetts basically saying rappers including himself do a lot of capping in their music

@jaredhoffman9569 2 years ago (edited)

These three killed it but that beat was unreal bro. The subtle saxaphone throughout and the vocals, this whole thing was on point.

@deetz84 2 years ago

The fact that he says "it was a sister with a voice that made me weak" and mentions 3 of the top girl bands of the 90's and 00's era with black women as the lead singers in them.
TLC and their single Creep, Destiny's Child & Sugababes.
Is genius.

Ghetts is wild.
The most developed Mc in my opinion.

🔥

This song really made me realize what sets Ghetts and Kano apart. They’re both incredible craftsman, but Kano’s bars and schemes are a lot more cryptic.
