I love playing with foil, but I've always struggled with needing to print something first which means I can't just add accents to my planner or card projects. This freestyle quill solves that problem, and then some! Check out my first impressions to see what this awesome little pen can do!

It works really well with faux leather book covers. The trick is you gotta press hard but not too hard and slow so it transfers solid. When you tape the foil down its gotta be really tight and smooth.

I wonder if you could use it on slate coasters and table mats, you could personalise them for christmas dinner table.❤️

Is acetate the same material as the sticker backing?

Foil all the things!!!
Glad to see the review. I've been tossing up between this one and the silhouette one.
Could it be plugged into a phone charger or portable charger? Guessing the usb is only for power?

I have my cricut, and want to do hot foil on my son's wedding invitations, without buying a lazer printer, I am willing to try this. I already have a design I want to use, can I print that and trace it to baking paper and use the pen tool to foil on?
