I sold my S5II and G9II to buy the S1II and a few primes, great camera having loads of fun using it.

For the slow motion guys, I tried the S1 II 240 FPS in HD (just because) and upscale to 4K in Resolve Studio. Yes it's good really good.

definitely worth it. The best buy so far, great camera for years, has it all for videos and photos.

I’ve been using the s1ii since February for paid and personal photo/video projects and it’s been phenomenal. I’m primarily a photographer and liked it for the partially stacked sensor, pre-capture and the lowlight performance..
Big thing I took away from this video though was how good the sigma 200mm f/2 looked..my goodness

What do you think of the sigma fp ii you're currently testing? ;)

I shoot everything on my channel with it. It is a great camera and I think its the best all around camera that came out this year.

Finally bought mine last month. It’s my main and used for 120FPS for automotive.

In the uk The S1 ii was on sale with the 24-60 2.8 a 1tb ssd and the vlogging mic for £2599! Not sure if the deal is still on nor do i know if its a world wide deal nut a bargain purchase.

I bought and returned this camera. The massive HDMI lag is unacceptable in this day and age. I couldn't pull focus on this camera due to the awful lag.

I just bought the S1 MK2 10-6-26 I dumped my Sony gear to buy it (A7III A7SIII and lenses. good riddance ). The auto focus is fixed now. I will never use a gimbal again. I kept my S5IIX and Sigma FP my absolute favorite camera EVER. Why, Color science and now internal Prores RAW.

I think the S5iix is still worth to buy in 2026 so I bought one this summer. My videos aren't that aggressive so the rolling shutter won't be an issue. Was thinking about the S1ii but decided to buy a used like new S5iix and save some dough for lenses and a cage.

hi anson.

Is it still worth buying? Brother please.. it might even still be the benchmark for cameras to come in 2027 😗. Still no Sony FX5 in stores.

Dude what kinda clickbait title is that? (yes it worked on me but still) the camera just came out. I've bought 3 year old cameras that are still worth it 6 years on.
