Miley Cyrus pays tribute to her godmother, Dolly Parton, in this emotional documentary celebrating their extraordinary bond, music and legacy. Following Dolly Parton’s passing at age 80, Miley remembered the woman she had always known as “Aunt Dolly.” Her representatives later confirmed that she had died following a brief battle with cancer.

From becoming Miley Cyrus’ fairy godmother on Billy Ray Cyrus’ first tour and guest-starring as Aunt Dolly on Hannah Montana to Miley’s iconic “Jolene” Backyard Sessions cover, The Voice, the Grammy Awards, “I Will Always Love You", Wrecking Ball” and Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party, this documentary looks back at the performances, laughter and love that connected them across generations.

The film also remembers their final musical collaboration: Dolly’s new recording of “Light of a Clear Blue Morning” with Miley Cyrus, Reba McEntire, Lainey Wilson and Queen Latifah. Net proceeds from the recording and music video benefited pediatric cancer research at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.

Dedicated to the life and memory of Dolly Parton.
