This time, I'm speaking to you from across the deep blue seas! Our magnificent 4-night Greek Islands (Rhodes, Kos, Patmos, Samos) cruise with Selectum Blue Cruises, which we embarked on with a single-entry visa, is about to begin. At the beginning of the video, I explain the boarding process, mentioning that the parking lot is within walking distance and that you need to be at the port at least one or two hours before departure for check-in. Then, I share the small shock I experienced when my hair curler and hairdryer were confiscated due to ship security regulations.
Immediately after settling into the ship, we set off to explore this enormous cruise ship step by step. After preparing myself a delicious "day plate" of kısır (a type of bulgur salad) and poğaça (a type of Turkish pastry) for tea time, we explore the flavors of Turkish and world cuisine at the buffet restaurant. Offering a rich menu ranging from olive oil-based dishes to meze (appetizers), kebabs to mantı (Turkish dumplings), I personally taste and review the ship's signature dessert, the crispy profiterole, for you. From the pool area to the outdoor spaces, the indoor pool and spa center, and even my live test with a glass of water to answer the common question "Does the ship rock very little?", all the details are in this section.
Later in the video, after signing a special permit, we visit the captain's cabin, who manages this giant ship. We have a very pleasant conversation with our captain. Then we take a detailed tour of the standard interior cabins, window cabins, high-end balcony cabins catering to different budgets, and the legendary grand suite, unique on the ship with its enormous jacuzzi. I also share with you the comfort of the spacious 2-bedroom royal suite where we stayed. The day ends with a very special surprise; We're renewing our vows in a ceremony in the captain's presence!
