The madness officially begins.
In this video, I start turning a 1968 Volkswagen Beetle into a one-of-a-kind 4x4 off-road monster by combining it with the drivetrain and chassis from a 1989 Jeep Cherokee XJ.
This build has been living in my head for a long time, and now it’s finally happening. The plan is simple:

Classic VW Beetle body
Jeep XJ 4x4 drivetrain
Solid off-road capability
Full custom fabrication
And enough attitude to earn the name Jawbreaker

This is the first step in what will be a wild custom build that blends old-school German style with proven Jeep trail toughness. Nothing about this swap is bolt-on, so expect cutting, fabrication, problem solving, and probably a little chaos along the way.
