Part of shooting a slingshot is making your own bands. There is a point when you realize how much more fun it is when you are able to create and customize your own band sets!

In this video I will show you how I use band tying jigs to help make custom band sets. I'll go over three different styles of jigs and explain how they work!

Nice tutorial. I have that last jig and love it. Finally someone that ties bands like I do. Most of the bent over V part of the band facing in toward that pouch. With it that way when you look down the bands to aim they don't blend into a nice line for aiming. It's more of a fat band. Folding like you do makes make a nice thin aiming line. I figured that out after tying a few bands.

Thanks man. I thought that last one would need to be anchored to a table.. but apparently not. Like the ingenuity of the around the leg style, but probably prefer to be closer to where I'm working kind of thing. Great video thanks again. Don't worry what people say mate... it's not like you're telling what to do, simply sharing your knowledge.

tgat last jig needs the tiniest locking clamp... like a bendy pin that hooks under and locks tension

Man! Kinda like fishing. As many ways to do it as there are fisherman. That Tater guy is the first one I started watching. He is so nice he even sent me an HDPE, a Natty frame, a Can Vandal sticker and some pouches. Wouldn't even let me pay anything. You, Jordan and Tater man are what makes this community so great! PS....my wife ask if I was messaging with a girlfriend. I told her it was just double D's and you should have seen the look on her face...lol...
