Have you been doing oodles and oodles of long tones without improving your tone on C, C-sharp, D, and E-flat? I did too, until I figured this out. So, let me explain the keys to getting these notes.

1. Make sure you're covering all the holes
2. Aim the air slightly differently
3. Lower your jaw slightly more

Above all else, don’t be satisfied with getting a bad tone in this area.
