Checkout my second channel that takes a brutally honest look at America’s financial collapse (jobs vanishing, costs exploding, and AI’s takeover), all in shorter, bingeable commentary: https://youtu.be/5nS64UxORDg ❤

Jimmy Swaggart deserved an Academy Award for his " I have sinned " performance

My mother was an avid follower of Swaggart. The first time I heard the guy say he never sinned, I knew he was a liar. I tried to tell my Mom, to no avail. She still falls for those shama-lama, fallin' out in the spirit, be healed liars. I am a Christian, but those people are gritters. They're not looking for souls, they're looking for cash. Pretty much if they're a huge Christian network, Satan's backstage. Daystar is the latest example.

What’s always so horrifying to me is how enthusiastic and charismatic these kinds of monsters are. Some people work hard their entire life to be successful, but fail because they’re not willing to mistreat people.

Who need Lifetime when these stories are way more entertaining. You can’t make this stuff up!

Man when I was a kid, Jim Jones wiped out most of his entire congregation. Then this happened, then Jim and Tammy Fae fell apart. I realized back then that I better know what was in the Bible, and avoid any churches with a leader named Jim… 😮

0:48 this should NOT be allowed! Stop letting these scammers dodge millions in taxes 🤬

I will NEVER understand it. Why is there so much judgment of sex workers, and so little judgment of the Johns who create a market for it in the first place?

I love how when Jimmy is crying and boohooing after he gets caught with that hooker only to turn around a few months later, after getting caught again he tells his congregations that quote "God told me that it's none of your business" he publicly exposed himself as a hypocrite and YET his congregation applauded what he said showing how much he's pulled the wool over their eyes

My mom dragged me to a Campmeeting in Oklahoma when I was, like, 7 or 8... She loved Swaggart, Pat Robertson, Kenneth Copeland... So much 700 Club in my life as a kid... It's been a long recovery.

honestly, i have the utmost respect for the women like Debra in these stories, the women who are doing their job and get out in front of the lies their clients are likely to tell. she protected her children, she protected her name, and she made a good image for s workers who want to do the same. she was so well spoken and never trashed the industry.

I’ve been a Christian since 1976, I started in a very small church, then to the largest one here in Hawaii. Since I started late in life (19), I listened to all of these guys. Follow God, not the preacher.

9:40 Jimmy’s quote about the “freaks “ he was tired of, he was primarily describing my Daddy here. 😂 my Daddy just didn’t drink.

"No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money." (Mt 6:24)

There was a Tammy Faye musical that succeeded in London but flopped on Broadway. It was fascinating to see how British audiences could laugh at and enjoy these stories of the drama behind American 80s megapastors while Americans couldn't enjoy them since Americans are still living with the consequences today.
