I was lucky enough to see Queen live in the late 70s. It was a great show.

Roger Taylor is the reason I learnt to play drums & what he does by singing and playing drums at the same time is a hard thing to do but that's what makes him so great.

Finally, a Reactor with the good taste to do Roger Taylor!!! Start paying attention, Rogers voice is what help Freddie the most.

Queen had a beef with the concert promoter/camera crew and security. The audience was basically forbidden to get up from their chairs, and at some point during the concert Freddie stinked about that. Hence the speech to the audience at the beginning.

In this video 4:04 when Freddie looks over to see Roger enjoying his moment and smiling. Priceless

Killer Queen is about a high class call girl. I think the lyrics are so clever, and it’s not an easy song to sing though Freddie makes it seem effortless. Roger’s drumming in I’m In Love with my Car still gives me goosebumps when I watch this. Reportedly Roger wanted it on the B side of Bohemian Rhapsody and locked himself in a cupboard until the band agreed. Freddie was all for leaving him in there, he didn’t want it sullying his masterpiece, but Roger won in the end. 🤣 I love that story. I had that 45 when I was 16 years old, my mother hated it, she didn’t get it. Now here we are 45 years later and I still love it.

You’re right there,Freddie was really proud of Roger. He loved them all to the core and appreciate each and every band member.
Maybe one of the reason why John can’t get over his death,so sad…

If this circulates maybe all can talk about “Queen”. One of the best scene’s in the movie was the debate about This song!

Everyone is in love with Roger, but Roger is in love with his car.

This whole concert is epic. You need to listen to Roger and Brian's commentary of this concert, as well. You will learn so much about what was happening behind the scenes and all their great stories. When Roger is commentating and sees Freddie look back at him during "I'm In Love With My Car" he said "Freddie is laughing at me thinking I am finally working harder than he is." Killer Queen was their first hit from the Sheer Heart Attack album. It holds a special place in my heart because it is the first Queen song I ever heard and I thought it was beautiful. Still do.

These 2 songs were always part of a medley. Originally death on 2 legs started it off. Great performance.

This young lady deserves way more subs than she has.. Come on people, share her with your friends. (that didn't sound right but you know what I mean).

Roger Taylor in its purest form, frankly I cannot be impartial to Queen and Live in Montreal is one of those fundamental concerts not only of the band but also of rock.
I recommend "impromptu" from Live at Wembley '86 to hear another bit of Freddie's vocal power and Queen's great musical ability.
