Sad to be done with it, truly a top tier game

Nintendo really said "Yo what if we teach an entire generation of kids what 'existential dread' means?"

first game i played so long i saw the sun come up in real life. i was like, hhmmm. neat.

Seeing the lady in the maze game arcade reminded me of how she prices you differently based on which transformation you're in. She gets uh...flirty with Zora Link. Not sure what it is with people in this series and falling in love with fish.

Oh, this was just thrown into my recommended despite being uploaded an hour ago? 😭 YT knows how much I love this game lol

The song to slow time LITERALLY SLOWS TIME. Thats why they walk/run so slow when time is slowed.

Bro i also 100% it 4 years ago the First time playing it and people honestly dont know how hard it is until u do it yourself…

I don't know if you knew this, but your Fierce Deity can shoot energy beams with his sword! Instead of using the blue "Attack" button, use the green "Sword" button.

41:19 Not a nitpick or anything, Romani's little dog will bark and face the direction of the closest alien to the barn. Just a small detail that always made me smile. Little pup can't do much, but damn does it try.

Idk if people told you as well if you do the couples quest before ending you get the marriage scene at the credits. What I love about majora's is how strong taking some actions changes the outcome of this game.

Good job on the 100%, while getting every mask is part of the experience, going for the full 100% with all the Heart Pieces and other baubles is a real dinger this game. That, and I consider there to be value in fighting Majora twice, once with the Fierce Deity's Mask and once without, so glad you got to do that. Some easy to miss details and scenes:

-Sakon shows up to the Curiosity Shop late on the Second Night, which is when Kafei sees him. You can be in the Shop when this happens and see a funny interaction, with the Shop Owner knowing that Sakon steals the things he's selling and being hostile with him.
-On that note, Sakon shows up that night to sell the Bomb Bag he steals from the old woman on the First Night. If you stop this from happening, he never shows, and you can't complete Kafei's quest on that cycle.
-You can also make the quest impossible by *killing Sakon outright*. Wait for Sakon to try stealing the bag, and then shoot an arrow at it. The bombs inside will explode, killing Sakon on the spot. This was extremely shocking to accidentally discover when I was younger, as you can imagine XD

-There are many incidental interactions and hard to see scenes with Anju and Kafei in particular. By talking to Anju at a certain time, Link can claim the reservation made by a Goron named Link and a key to the middle room on the second floor. Link the Goron arrives late on the First Day, and if you've claimed his reservation, he decides to simply sleep outside since the weather is nice. You can see him snoozing on the bench outside, mumbling about how it's going to rain in the morning.
-The room you claim has a crumbling wall. By interacting with it around 9:30pm on the Second Night, you can overhear an argument between Anju and her mother. Anju's mother is an interesting character on her own, for that matter.
-Several conversations with Romani, Cremia, and Anju's mother refer to the fact that Cremia also loved Kafei and is conflicted over being both happy for Anju as a friend, and jealous that she gets to be with him. Unsavory rumors have spread among some that Kafei's disappeared to elope with her. Some of these happen at Romani Ranch on the Final Night, where's Anju's family arrives to take refuge. If you never gave Anju the Pendant of Memories that cycle, she's there with them, but if given to her, she stays behind by herself.
-You can complete the Kafei quest without giving Anju the Pendant, but when doing this, Kafei will arrive to an empty room on the Final Night. If spoken to, he says one of the hardest lines to read in a video game:
"Isn't her bridal dress lovely?  We promised each other when we were children that we'd marry on the day of the Carnival of Time. ...But my promise... I couldn't keep it..."

-If you visit the Swordsman's School on the Final Night, you're greeted with a sign saying the proprietor has left on a training journey. However, you can now access the area behind him, and discover a secret wall and hidden room. He's actually cowering in there, panicking and unable to grapple with his impending death.
-Both the Dekus at the Deku Playground, as well as Honey and Darling, will react to you returning after completing their games on all 3 days of a cycle. The Dekus will hide and refuse to acknowledge your presence, and Darling will incredulously ask "You again?!"

It's so exasperating watching how you play the entire game and 100% it without trying to select or focus on enemies/bosses while fight them, trying to aim manually things without the focus on, I never wanted to kms so bad, nice playthrough!

This is one of my favorite childhood games (even though it terrified me)! I’m so glad you enjoyed it!
The twinmold fight is actually a lot harder in the 3DS version because you can’t get the giant’s mask until halfway through the fight (:

Face to face with the boss OTTAWA!
As a canadian this hits to close to home

1:25:53 you missed one sad thing in the beginning of the game. The decu scrub who Majora most likely killed so that it could change Link into one. The decu buttler’s son.

Super happy to learn you enjoyed this adventure, too!

My only regret is you fought Majora's Mask with Fierce Deity first!
Whenever I curate someone's playthrough of this, I always make them save state before leaving the last Lunar Child challenge undone, then have them face Majora's Mask.
After they've been bullied, but finally win, that's when we go back, do the final challenge, and then face Majora's Mask with Fierce Deity. The Power Trip has been a hit, every time!
It appears you might not have realized that when swinging your sword while targeted as Fierce Deity, it shoots a projectile, making the fight even more cake than your footage.

Although, I understand it's very unlikely to ever play it like this naturally without outside guidance, you still did amazing. The only reason I curate the game this way is because for some reason, the game locks the other transformation masks away from you when you've first obtained Fierce Deity. I assume because the game really wants you to use it

Yeah, some of the heart pieces are pretty hard to think of getting without a guide. Glad to see you try both a run without the Great Deity Mask after beating the game with it!

It's great that you got the gilded sword in one go. If you'd gotten the razor sword in the previous cycle, you would have been hit with the nasty surprise that the razor sword doesn't carry over when you reset time.

watching these videos for Majora's Mask truly show me how much I miss when I play this game, and it's one of my favorite Zelda's lol

There is a quest added in the 3D version with the Troupe leader's mask, where you have to bring a special milk from the Brothers to Gorman to cure his hangover on the second day. (He's sleeping in the Inn)
It's a really cool addition but I wouldn't recommend the version otherwise (without the restoration mod)
