Atop the rolling hills of the Catskills mountains in New York, sits a vacant Inn that was built before Electricity. Construction began in 1899 and it opened for guests in 1901. The location was soon to be proven as perfect as The Campbell Inn sits inside the Borscht Belt Region of NY.
We'll learn about that history as I also take you inside the now demolished Hotel. The Campbell Inn closed for guests in the 1990s but despite that, the inside of the hotel is frozen in time as if we just stepped into the 1970s.
come with me and @ExploringWithJosh as we take you inside for one last time.

I filmed this video over 5 years ago, and sneakily was able to access the long abandoned hotel despite the new owners living in a house just feet away. With them outside having a bonfire with their dog, it led to a very stressful and intersting explore.
Let me know what you thought and if you want to see more hotels from this region ?
Have a good day, and thanks for watching and support digital preservation !
