Thank you for sharing this, awesome video!

I agree with jazz being a language. I think if that as more than an analogy. It really functions exactly like any language.
I would like to  offer that I don't agree with the necessity of practicing cliches in all 12 keys. On instruments like sax, trumpet, piano, etc, that present different challenges in different keys, there are usually OTHER cliches that lay well in the more difficult keys. There is no need to force awkward phrases. If you analyze the CP Omnibook, you'll find how easy Bird's ideas lay on the alto. He tends to use similar ideas in other tunes with similar keys. However, in other tunes with different keys, he commonly uses other shapes and devices to get around. Those ideas lay well in THOSE keys.
Examine how awkward it can sometimes be to transpose his solos to tenor sax or trumpet. They are OK, but they were conceived on alto. I used to preach practicing every idea in all 12 keys, but 2 or 3 similar keys is sufficient. If you need great ideas in the key of B, or C#, or F#, there are plenty of them out there. Just learn those. Then you're not recycling the same licks over and over anyway. Different ideas for different keys. I think you run into that in the onmibook all the time.
Just my .02.

Nice video

cool

Very good

nice :)

Awesome stuff! Just what I’ve been looking for. Keep up the great work :)

Aaron, you provided some very interesting ways to practice material that I was unaware of.  Thanks for opening my eyes and ears.

Sorry but you made me laugh at least inside when you mentioned example phrase of learning language and integrating them and they were “where is the library?” And ‘how is your mother?’ And I couldn’t help recalling the early days of studying Japanese and just coming out with “how is your money?” In place of “what is the reading of this Chinese character?”

Very good lesson. Thanks

Nice video!

Звук важнее чем количество нот. Если звук такой вялый то всё остальное не имеет ценности.

The Donna Lee one is wrong it’s an arpeggio of a fully diminished chord built off the third

OMG!!! are guys really thinking through all of this information as they're performing on stage? I need to be in the beginners class. This is wayyyyy too deep.
