My review, ranking and rating: (feel free to disagree)
1. Balloon (10/10). The cartoonish vibe is VERY pleasing to me and the doechii feature was the cherry on top, TOO short.
2. Like Him (10/10). From Answer to THIS masterpiece, I feel really bad that he never got to meet his father. Lola’s vocals were amazing and the instrumental was very chill.
3. Darling, I (9.5/10). Teezo’s vocals give me chills EVERYTIME. My only problem is I feel like they could’ve picked a better instrumental.
4. St. Chroma (9.3/10). This is one of his best opening tracks to introduce the album and everyone went WILD when the snippet dropped.
5. Thought I Was Dead (9/10). His rapping was SERIOUS on this one, and the ScHoolboy Q collab was amazing too. I just don’t listen to it enough, that’s why it’s extracted by a point.
6. Sticky (8.5/10). Very good song, I just don’t like red’s feature and it got very overplayed very quickly.
7. Judge Judy (8/10). I feel like this song was a bit long (or i just have low attention span) and the moaning in the end was UNCALLED for, either way really good song.
8. I Killed You (8/10). VERY overhated song, his lyricism on here was very good too.
9. Hey Jane (7.5/10). I don’t listen to this song as much, I like the chill instrumental and it definitely need to be higher but i felt a 7.5 would be good.
The rest are all in the same position because I don’t listen to them as much. However NOID is a 9.

Overall album rating: 9.5/10. Very hard to find a least favorite or a “worst” song and I’ll be honest, this over gnx anyday.

Like Him was so hurtful because of the backstory to it- as people explained before he has songs absolutely ripping on his father for "leaving him" at a young age- but at the age of 30 he learned that what he built his whole career off of (hate on his father) was a lie told to him by the person he idolized the most.

Owch.

Like him ends with a sad tone then balloon comes out of nowhere with this happy go lucky beat bro 😭😭

Tells that she found out she had terminal cancer before meeting him, and so knowing she was soon to be gone, decided to do everything she wanted and go with no regrets.

This also made me remember the comment about all the stories being real. He said that those songs were so personal and meaninfull (and sometimes hurtfull) that he felt like he had to do as if he was playing, acting, wearing a mask of himself, to be able to say it. And that's where the mask idea came from.

Best thing about tyler is this Is all him. He produces most of his own songs, he directed the music videos, does amazing world building, sings and raps
