This was The Warning’s first song nominated for a Latin Grammy.  Last week, their song Ego was their second song nominated for a Latin Grammy.  They have 4 songs sung in Spanish. These two, Martirio and Narcisista.

Que Mas Quieres is a spoof of a Mexican telenovela, or soap opera, complete with blatant and obligatory product placement (The Warning are brand ambassadors for Pepsi Black in Mexico). It is girl-bossing, gatekeeping, gaslighting, gangster-gagging, Godfather style, with elements of Pulp Fiction and Charlie's Angels thrown into the "whodunit" story. The cake tackle and Dany's wedding dress are straight out of November Rain, the old music video by Guns & Roses. The video is full of little Easter Eggs about the Keep Me Fed album, such as the clock on the wall of the detectives' situation room being set to 6:28, a reference to 06/28/2024, the release date of the album. The girls play the Mexican board game, Loteria, to display their intent. Pau kills the old man in the study with the candlestick, so now we understand what she is doing on the cover of the album, Keep Me Fed! Dany marries the son, Vito, and they frame him for the murder of the old man by planting the blue rose of mystery in his Dad's dead hand, along with an invitation to the wedding. Dany plants the rose in Vito's pocket and gives him the kiss of death... while Ale calls the detectives to ask, "Tell me, what more do you want?" Mayhem ensues as the detectives arrive to find Vito as a marked man. But… what's in the box??? Will Pau write a sequel? My favorite part is the appearance of the wedding band, "Las WaWas," The Warning in tuxedos and sunglasses, outfits that they resurrected during their early 2025 shows in Mexico. IMHO, this mini-movie was absolutely another example of Pau's demented brilliance, complete with a dead body!  Ivan Chavez co-directed the production side with Pau's plot, storyboards, and conceptual co-direction. I never get tired of it!

I’m old enough (71) to have seen The WHO twice in the late 70s in Seattle. To say I’m a fan is an understatement. They had it all: amazing musicianship, stage presence, and lyrics that spoke to a generation. Also saw Elton John on his Yellow Brick Road tour, Heart, Dire Straits, Kansas, Santana, SuperTramp, Blue Öyster Cult, and many more. All true musicians, songwriters, and performers. No auto-tune, lip-sync, or pitch correction. Over the last couple of decades, I thought the music industry had killed rock. But in 2017 I was blessed to witness a Gen-Z rock band that has these same gifts to carry the torch. "THE WARNING" is a band I have been waiting decades for. True rock roots, musicianship off the charts, and lyrics that hit all the human emotions. If you miss rock, give them a listen. They are the real thing.

This was their third song in Spanish, after Narcisista and Martírio. Pau actually directed the music video too

Just to show you how versatile they are, this video was written and co-directed by the drummer. Trivia, the song was originally written in English and then translated back to Spanish by their mom because they thought it would sound better.

There is something so special when The Warning sing in their native tongue, so catchy even if you don't speak Spanish!

Such a fun video. These ladies clearly enjoy making great music.

This band is soooooooo good!  Thanks for the reaction!

Glad you found them - they're a revelation! Considering what you now play (as a DJ) their new album might be right up your street so to speak.
But, to be honest, they play great rock, have great hooks and so many melodies your mind can't escape, you can pick any album and not be disappointed.

I'd recomend "Ego" or  "Ritual" (both from the latest album - Everything' Falling) OMV's are great,
or,  "Escapism" (last album - Keep Me Fed) a studio live performance from the Honda Stage | Uforia.

All three tracks are totally different styles, totally differnet feels, but absolutely show their brilliance and versatility as writers, musicians and performers. Enjoy!

Nuff Said!  ... Andy   (TWA⚡UK)

They RULE and they do it with style 🤘

This video was co-written and co-directed by Pau and inspired by Charlie's Angels. In the video for Kerosine Dany reads a newspaper and on the back page is a story about 3 women working undercover to take down a mob boss.

ALE loves turning that treble up and so do I

Try reacting to their song called " Consume " . Pau the drummer comes out in front of stage to sing lead , and the the holy wars drummer is the guest drummer for this song , a real treat , cheers man .

🤩

best rock band on the planet

I🖤TW🤘

If you are getting the vids from their own page there is no need to blur them out. Pretty much everything they have done is excellent. I cannot say that about any other band. Consistent excellence!

As a DJ who plays that genre of music, you should check out their collab with Pnau, Tu Corazon.  Don’t worry it’s not all in Spanish.
