Welcome back to What’s For Tea :) Tonight I made a gorgeous slow cooker roast beef and red wine gravy! Not only is this super easy, it makes the most wonderful tender beef too…oh, and it’s amazing :)

What I used (serves 4-5 people) In a 3.5 litre Crock Pot

1 kg (2.2 lb) Rolled beef topside or top round beef
500 ml (2.1 cups) Beef stock
187.5 ml (0.8 cups) Red wine – ¼ bottle
2 Carrots – Roughly chopped
1 Onion – Sliced
6 Tablespoons cornflour
3 Tablespoons tomato puree
2 Teaspoons sugar
1 Teaspoon salt
1 Teaspoon pepper___________________________________________________________________

We never ever have Turkey at Xmas none of us like it,ever since I was a kid my mum would make Silver Side & Chicken with roast & mash potatoes,mixed vegetables, Brussels sprouts,runner beans & we've all just carried that on just with a we tweek here&there.. 😊 🎅

Looks great as usual! FYI if you cut the meat against the grain, each mouthful of beef will be even more tender! Love your channel!

If you cut the meat across the grain instead of with it, it will be even more tender. It looks wonderful!
