In this lecture, we continue building our real-world Shopify Product Analytics App.

In the previous lecture, we created the database schema, API route, and Shopify App Proxy. In this lecture, we connect that API with a Theme App Extension and implement the practical product-view tracking functionality.

We will see how to:

Create and configure a Shopify Theme App Extension
Connect the Theme App Extension with our API
Embed the extension into the Shopify theme
Track when a customer views a product
Save product-view data through the API
Track data for logged-in users
Track product views for users without login
Understand the complete request and data-saving flow
Test the functionality directly on the Shopify storefront
