lol love how Guthrie starts his solo with 2 notes, then takes a minute to just hang around and comes back with the same 2 notes

I love what the Aristocrats can accomplish and do but The Fellowship always makes me happier...

you either have to be bald or in the 99th percentile of hairiness to play in this band.

All these years, and I never knew Guthrie had a brother. Dude sure kills it on the bass.

Welcome to history Guthrie.

hail Guthrie

guthrie govan had just summoned his doppelganger...

this kills.

I don't know what I like better: The INCREDIBLE vibe of this piece, or the look of TOTAL JOY on Guthrie's face as he throws down!

Thanks, yet again, HandEyeFamilyMusic, for another great year at the Eddie Lang Jazz Festival!

👍🎵🐐

the bassist is guthrie's brother seth

jazz is the new shred

I would absolutely love to know how Guthrie thinks .. taking all those notes and organizing them into sounds that both he and us wanna hear ..

Does anyone think Seth Govan is waaaay underrated? Wish there was some more info on the guy, he is an incredible bass player! Last time i met Guthrie he told me that his brother was currently not recording as much as teaching. Does anyone by chance know where?

I didn't know Guthrie have a brother :O Freaking amazing :D
