Has anyone else wondered why it took a whistleblower to force an investigation into City when everyone in football knew they'd been buying the league for about a decade?

James, we’re not celebrating city’s 115 charges. We’re just happy that something is actually being done about it. Would you rather the prem did nothing ?

People aren’t happy man city cheated people are happy man city are finally getting charged for their cheating we’ve known about for years!

The court of public opinion is the only thing they cant loophole their way out. Never let them get away with this.

Don't make videos on this then, James. Read the documents. It's absolutely crazy what has happened, and still is happening. It's fraud, and it's awful for the pl that this has been allowed to happen in the first place. Do you want to look back on the biggest scandal in sporting history sitting on the fence, or even worse, defending them to a degree?

None of us were as wilfully blind as you have been James that it wasn't obvious they weren't playing by the same rules as the rest of us. Get real. Of course we are happy this has happened, because ultimately we do not want the present owners of Man City as part of the PL. End of. Even if we just limit it to an onfield sporting context, surely you couldn't just be sitting there all good that you compete against a City who when it comes to VAR decisions seems to at the very least be less affected than their major rivals Liverpool and Arsenal in the last few seasons in a statistically significant way. After of course their owners would have meaningless games in UAE and pay some of our top officials ridiculous sums to ref these games. Even if you weren't one of these officials you can't tell me that while officiating a City game it isn't at the back of your mind that you don't want to jeopardize a possible cheque you are going to want in the future. There was so much obviously wrong with Man City and the ppl behind the scenes that we have to celebrate that football has found a backbone. I get what you are saying, but we want our football back as something we can watch with certain assumptions in mind. Continuing to pretend that this is the case when it isn't, I mean.... no bro. This is ultimately a time to celebrate the fact certain stuff will not stand.

It’s so absurd to say people shouldn’t be happy that City have finally been exposed just because of the “mess” around how to punish them.

That’s like saying people shouldn’t be pleased when a mass murderer is brought to justice simply because it’s hard to decide how to sentence them appropriately and compensate their victims. It’s simplistic and reductive to keep complaining about how complex everything is and stick your head in the sand.

James, do you really have to bend over backwards to show just how unbiased you are?

I would rather not have a product than have a product where a culprit who broke the rules for so long goes unpunished and allowed to continue as if nothing happened. Real football fans don't care about the political intimidation from within and outside the country

James. They have cheated. Stop being so weak. This video you are literally saying look its ok to cheat because we might miss Derbys  or arteta playing his old club!! They have cheated and should be punished. What youre saying is let them get away with it but give them a little punishment so it looks like the league wont stand for it but the outcome  wont really change anything. They have to be relegated and all their trophy's have an asterisk. They have made a mockery of the league. And btw.  Pep knew. We all bloody knew. You think Pep would go if they were 16th?  No. Pep has been surrounded by controversy  his whole career.

I'm happy with the man city situation. They've made a mockery of the league for the last 18 years with their disregard for the rules and should be punished accordingly

What have I woken up to

James THE SANCTIONS can come in immediately before appeal. So they can be relegated before appeal fines trasnfer bans etc

17:05 james city liverpool was never a rivalry. And liverpool vs united is a bigger match then the manchester derby

11:10 james, this is one of the few thing the audience has issue with.
you keep saying " I wish they weren't guilty", and that make is sound like what they did was not cheating but the pannel still found them guilty.
they were cheating and they lied multiple times about, I mean who has 34 charges for not cooperating.

Those are dead rubber games for city not the opponents. Everyone else still needs to battle for those points.

James, just speak on what you want to speak on, without saying you’re out your depth every couple of sentences lol. We are watching because we want to hear you talk on it, whether you’re out of your depth or not. Chill.

A man was found next to a murdered body, he had the knife in his hand, thirteen witnesses that seen him stab the victim, when the police arrived he said, “I’m glad I killed the bastard"

City fans - not guilty

They weren’t great teams. They looked great because they were cheating

People confuse something that is hard to think about with a view that it shouldn’t be thought about.  It’s complicated and will take a long time but it is necessary to stop it from happening again.
