One thing I find stupid about MHA is how a dude that talks to animals somehow got accepted into UA, but a dude who can control raw flesh was rejected(Seiji from Shiketsu)
As a MHA fan, I'll have to agree. Some quirks in there are wild. There only a HANDFUL are useful ones and they are all from the main cast. All might should have a gun since he is quirkless. He could die at any moment.
The best iteration of Batman of all time, in my honest opinion, is the one from Batman the Animated Series from 1992. It makes his ideals of "no killing" make sense, but also make it more specifically "no guns," because that's what killed his parents. Not only was he merciful, but he legit tried to help the people he was fighting, and typically only beat the shit out of them when he knew that he otherwise couldn't get through to them. Also, he wasn't an unstoppable tank that beat people into hospital debt, there were several close calls in the series or times where he was beat senseless and had to figure out a way to stop the villain. Batman TAS is totally GOATed and if you haven't seen it yet you need to stop what you're doing and watch it right now, fr
The MHA one is beyond true. Half of these superpowers/quirks/mutations (whatever its all the same) are USELESS. These are some of the most useless, niche abilities Ive ever seen in writing. Its like having the ability to crack your neck on command.
Batman's whole dilemma is trying to redeem the evil and not kill becuase he believes killing them would make him just as evil as the villains he's fighting.
The Batman opinion is kinda understandable if someone isn't really a fan who knows a lot about the guy. I also thought that Batman was just this orphan in a suit who uses prep-time to win ,but then I got into the Batman Arkham games and man, those games are a fucking masterpiece. You'll actually get invested in the lore and have this urge to find out more. The thing about Arkham's little details is that they have this unnerving feeling when you discover them. Other than that, you'll find out that there's much to Batman. He's mastered 127 martial arts, is literally the best detective in the world e.t.c. So in conclusion, play the Arkham Games, you'll love them
(I do have to admit though, not killing the Joker is some heavy bs)
Honestly, anyone could become a top tier superhero in My Hero Academia by just having a gun, like you got powers of ice and fire? Bitch what's your Referigerator and Microwave limited edition kitchen product combo package gonna do against a glock?
As a MHA manga reader, I understand the questions about its world building from having what is essentially children armed with more weaponry than a professional soldier with a rocket launcher. And I just hafta say,
