Ina: What if we could change our reality just by being observed?
Mumei: I LIKE TO WATCH.

Artist: But Fauna, isn't Mumei supposed to look scary? I don't understand this specification about cak-
Fauna: Just do it! It's important to plot.

Ina: Beaten crumpled on the floor.
Also Ina: “It’s not actually that bad chilling down here you know?"

Theory time:
Basically, Ina wanted to recreate the universe using observation theory so she created a website which kidnaps people to torture them to attract attention from their suffering. She succeeded in drawing watchers as shown in episode 2 (Calli's eye ball scooping is unrelated, she's just always been a yandere). After confirming that she drew watchers from the idol mutilations, Ina decided to continue with her experiments on mutations to see how many more watchers she can draw. Eventually this leads to the events of episode 3 here where by sheer coincidence, Kronii is injected with the mutation serum which gives (or activates) her time powers. So when she rewinds time, it's now with the weight of all of these watchers so their reality adjusts itself to one where it makes sense for them to be watched. Like say, v-tubers.

I choose to believe that Fauna put Monster Mumei being thicker than a bowl of oatmeal in the script explicitly and intentionally cuz DAYUM BOY SHE THI-

3:20 Kronii: "Mumei! Hey, look at me! You remember me, don't you?"
Mumei: " I FORGOR "

I'd like to imagine this is the "Good Ending" to Myth's "Bad Ending" lol

Kronii, the only one that remembers everything: "And you wonder why I drink" proceeds to chug a steak and cheese

Mumei singing "A New Start" and it getting progressively louder and closer is so eerie and I love it

4:26 Mumei got that cake....

The end really hits home with how much I miss Sana...

Fauna didnt just made 3 short stories with themes of horror beyond our comprehension, but she took that one step further and made US, THE VIEWERS the true evil of the stories.

Just by watching them play out we allow them to change, to turn bad, because thats what we wanted, the observer effect at work.

Ina: “You’ll still watch, won’t you?”

“Oh Ina.”
laugh track

Can we talk about the absolute CAKE Mumei has in monster form???

Fauna’s direction to Mumei was just, “Ok Mumei, be Mumei.” And that is how we get horror Mumei.

If I had a nickel for each time Ina had destroyed a timeline, I would have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot but it's wierd it happened twice. In the past week.

Ina sounds much more comfortable than she did in some earlier VA stuff. She was really good in this.

"Ophanim".
A name in the bible occasionally used to refer to angels. Sometimes also referred to as *"The Many-Eyed One."*

Taking into account Ina's explanation of the Observation Effect, the Watchers that tormented Bae, and the vanishings that drove Gura, Fauna, and Amelia to the brink of madness, whatever they were trying to attract worked. I mean, we're here, aren't we?

We watched, because cruelty really is the best attractor, isn't it (Notice that she's looking right at the audience as she says this)? How many times have we read a story, watched a show, because of the hurt the characters go through? Now what if the characters became aware of that? Well here we are.

Even though it's all seemingly fixed in the end, the fact that Kronii, Mumei, and Ina seem to recall what happened just leaves this worrying unease in the air, this unaddressed question.
What if it happens again?

Bravo to Fauna and the rest of the girls for putting all this together. It's wonderfully horrifying, and I hope we get something like this again next year.

The irony that the forgetful owl is actually the one that remembers their past existence. Mei acts like she’s forgetful, but as gura said, “don’t let that cute face fool you, she knows…”

The throne, the wheel, the many eyes.  It's all coming together.  The villain is an angelic being, thus it has to be Ina.

Bae: Irys, is the photo ok?
Irys: it's perfect
