VISIONS OF WILLIAM BRANHAM
Jeffersonville, Indiana — September 30, 1960
“This tape is being made for the Kingdom of God, as I am presenting it to Brother Lee Vayle for manuscript.”
This recording preserves an important firsthand part of the working relationship between Brother William Branham and Brother Lee Vayle.
Brother Branham is not simply recounting past experiences for a general audience. He specifically states that the tape is being made and presented to Brother Vayle for manuscript, and throughout the recording he addresses Brother Vayle directly while relating and clarifying a number of early visions and their fulfillments.
Brother Branham recounts:
• the healing of Edward J. Merrell after a vision showed the circumstances beforehand
• the healing of Mary Der Ohanian, crippled for seventeen years
• the vision and healing of John Emil’s young son
• the detailed vision leading him to the Nail family and the healing of their crippled daughter
• the importance of waiting until every detail of a vision was fulfilled exactly as shown
A major theme in the recording is Brother Branham’s insistence that the vision itself had to govern the action. He explains to Brother Vayle that he had learned not to move ahead of what had been shown, even when circumstances seemed urgent.
