Excellent video. I needed this information before a gust of wind took the glass out before I had the beads in.

Excellent explanation. Very helpful indeed. Must be a yorkshireman.... well done chap... I love your clarity.

thank you

not the simplest explanation I'm afraid.  bit confusing, but thanks

Very well explained thanks for doing this.

Good job.....thanks for sharing

Very informative. Cheers.

Yes you must always have a bridge packer on the bottom to allow the water to travel under otherwise the water will pool and build up and either leak into the property or will cause the double glazed unit to breakdown as it will be sat in water

Same procedure used for a upvc door

if handle on the bottom then you would put a bridge on each corner approx 80 - 100mm in from each end

well explained tutorial thanks.
Bridge packers i see they are different sizes how do you choose the correct one for the upvc window are they all standard for windows?

Hello,  where should the bridge packers go if it is a upward opening sash window? I'm guessing a packer goes in each corner so 8 in total? Thank you!

Thanks guys, EXCELLENT tutorial, I'm going to replace my own foggy DG panes, and look into going into this as a business. Will purchase all the tools at your site in one go. Also I understand there are 4 main DG systems out there. Is that correct? And one DG has rare type of beading so you need a special tool.

It would be great if you did a video(s) on this and also the part numbers for any tooling that we can buy at your site. Thanks, keep up the GREAT work!

If it's a fixed window that doesn't open should I put packers in all 4 corners?

can you tell me a website in the UK where I can buy a single glass insert, please?

Can you please quote to replace a cracked double glazed window, thanks

Boring !

They used literally one little square inch of that packer on the bottoms only.,  and relied on the little felt gaskets to seal everything..  and charged 500 a window..  i can push the things in from the outside..  a good windstorm is going to tear my house apart now,.  Bastards..

"Brill" thanks for feedback much appreciated regards from the Spares for repairs team
