Watching this in Dec. 2025.  What a p,easier to see a son talk about his parents like this.  A kid who actually has gratitude

"She's a deeply magical human being".

Wow....that's such an incredible compliment from a son to a mom!

Wow, I have always thought James was sooo handsome, but isn't his son an ever livin' doll?
I do love the way he speaks about his parents, without bitterness and resentment and with deep reverence and respect.

listening to him talk I couldn't stop thiking, "wow, he doesn't seem to be effed up, and he isn't blaming his parents for anything. how refreshing!"

It's refreshing to hear someone express these words about their parents.

What a precious testament Ben made to his much loved and adored parents.

What a beautiful young man who speaks so very highly of his parents

He seems like a cool guy. Nice to see that. So many celebrities have messed up kids. Both of this man's parents are legends and he seems so normal and well adjusted. Amazing.

He’s such a lucky guy being born into a family with such musical gifts and success. His soul must have won the lottery.

Ben looks so much like his mom in this video. He's got the best features of both parents.

To have one parent who has such a way with words and tell her stories through the magic of music, is a gift, but to have two parents who have such a poetic way of telling their stories is magical.

I loved his description of Carly criticizing his songs. This comes from a generation further back: Her father was the Simon from Simon and Schuster. Of course she knows how to edit.

How nice to see a son display such open love for both his parents.

I'm not at all surprised at how down to Earth and Humble Ben is...his parents must be awful proud of him and their daughter as well. Cheers Everyone

How amazing it must have been to experience his incredibly gifted parents. He is clearly a uniquely impressive and articulate man. He’s easy on the eyes too.

What a delightfully intelligent and well-spoken human being.  Nice.

He speaks so highly of his parents and how they raised him, as well as how they created their own music. He is a beautiful man with a deep understanding about life. They did a great job in raising him.

Imagine having to follow those two, but Ben is magical too.

I met Ben about 25 yrs ago in a BJJ  class in NJ.
He was very guarded about who he was, but once everyone knew who he was, it was pretty much ignored and he was like any other student there. Think that's all he wanted.

James Taylor/Carly Simon Both INCREDIBLY talented & interesting.  Obviously, have a good, generous son.
