Heated rivalry fixed part of my brain I think

The Connor Storre of it all…..he deserves EVERY reward ever created for his performance in heated rivalry.
I really appreciated this episode of coffee and tequila speaking on this topic. Love you guys, take care

I get why people think there's no plot in the first two episodes of HR. I think we're so used to watching romance through a heteronormative lens where emotional connection comes before sex. I've come to realize that the sex isn't the plot per se, it's the vehicle through which Shane and Ilya communicate. Long before either of them is capable of emotional vulnerability, their physical intimacy reveals trust, affection, conflict, fear & longing. The emotional story is already unfolding, it's just being told in a different language.

Season 2 introduces Troy Barrett and Harris, Ilya’s mental health.

I think episode 5 is my favorite. I love Connor's performance in that and him opening up in Russian at the end of the episode is THE scene for me!!!

I’m glad you mentioned the cast and crew. I’ve seen a number of interviews with them and several of the supporting actors, every one of them was pure class. No drama, no divas, just humility and gratitude. Pure class, every one!

Jacob Tierney has stated that Heated Rivalry S2 has the same budget as S1. It is still a fully Canadian smaller production. There will be more characters introduced, however.

i haven’t seen Alastair for a while he’s looking good lately 😮‍💨❤

I loved the last episode; it was good to see Shane's parents accept them. I thought the last episode was full of so many emotions ❤

Connor Storrie can also be seen in a dark four or five episode arc ending this week in the latest season of “Criminal Minds” on Paramount Plus. Such a departure from Ilya, with the BAU after him. Check it out.

It's Wednesday evening here in Australia guys so no problem. So good to catch up again.

I'm very happy to see Coffee & Tequila back! Love you both. I was curious why I never saw you talk about Heated Rivalry. ( maybe I just missed it) I'm a 71 yo queer man out since 1974 and I appreciate you both so much. I'm off to your Patreon now and I don't know why that didn't occur to me sooner. I've watched literally hundreds of reactions to HR and I'm so excited to watch (binge watch!) yours.   Thanks for being so fun and interesting. Happy Pride to all every month!🏳‍🌈🏳‍⚧

I'm glad that Coffee & Tequila is back--I will be looking forward to watching it each week.  I'm on the fence about joining a member only.  I've just now began watching your old videos and have become a fan.

It was a loon. It's a common bird in Canada, especially around lakes and cottages. Ilya refers to as a "Canadian wolf bird".  Funny enough, Canadians refer to Canadian geese as "cobra chickens"

It’s always such a pleasure to have you guys back with Coffee and Tequila, I rely on you two to keep me current in my life. I loved Heated Rivalry thought itwas amazing story telling and a story about our life community. I do worry about tough season two will be to create after this overwhelming response to season 1. I also hope the boys who play the characters manage their lives through this rise to fame it must be tough to handle. My favourite episode may be the cottage and their conversations and the Loon scene I got the tshirt lol and the mom and Shane’s conversation and family scene. I cried a lot from episode 3 to the end. You guys could always do that to me also. Hi from Canada and yes I’m glad Canadian culture would accept a story like that. See you Friday, both of you find some downtime…relax…❤️

Thank you, Canada! 🇨🇦

E4 was my favorite.

Hey guys ! Is so nice to see you back on YouTube, not much of episode but my favourite moment was seeing the healthy relationship from Kip with his father and friends, those moments where so wholesome it just give me joy every time 🤗💜

Thank you Canada

Season two, Jacob Tierney has already said the budget is no larger, this is still a Canadian series LOL but wait for it because you are gonna meet Troy and Harris 🥰 and the airplane ✈️🥺

Jacob Tierney has confirmed that they will not get a bigger budget, simply because when you've shown you can make a hit with peanuts, a dream and talent, no one will give you more money because "you don't need it".

Heartstopper v Heated Rivalry: well, one is YA and the other is firmly adult, so they cannot be compared.
