Firas: so you have chosen death

Mad respect to Shane for posting this. Most people have such an ego with sparring and it being seen. Really shows Shane's charecter and how he's a martial artist

Firas is like Shang Tsung, the way he constantly changes stance, style of guard, etc...it's like he's morphing into different fighters every 15 seconds

Firas is my coach as well (grappling). What I can say, after many years of watching him spar the best pros in the world, is that he could be a high level competitor. I have watched him technically decimate great fighters time and time again. Many people ask me, “Firas never competed in mma, how do we know he is credible?” I always say, pick a fighter and watch him spar with Firas. You realize within minutes that he could compete in the UFC, if he chose to. Also, he is a Canadian Muay Thai champion, who in my opinion is a superior grappler. Respect coach.
