Its not a flex, younger men want sex. Its not groundbreaking. If the younger successful man proposes and commits, then thats a flex. 🤷🏽‍♂️

That was a great interview Kit. Marni is one of the dating coaches I agree with almost everything she says.

1:09:00 I feel like this is often explained very poorly. Yes, neither sex generally wants a door mat. But they also don't want someone who is going to always push and challenge them. Its also not an in between thing. What people are looking for is a person who is helping them become the person they want to be. And its important to note the person they themself wants to be, not the person the other person wants them to be. Because if the other person is trying to push you to be something other than how you want to be its going to feel like nagging and its going to feel manipulative. Additional note, "you should want someone who pushes you to be better" is also insufficient. Better according to whom? Sure its easy when its something like one person is a drug addict and the other is helping to keep them sober. But what about when its balancing things like Fitness and career? How the children should be raised? or other things where people can disagree on their vision of better?

Thanks for the conversation! Really interesting!

Idk around the 20:00 mark, i really dislike the fact that people ive heard speak on this generally dont mention the economy's and workplaces effects on the culture and fail to even acknowledge it. I'll try to elaborate women often want men to maintain the traditional role of paying for dates and general expenses as kit mentioned, but this only happened in our culture due to men actually providing for women and often making more than them. We are now in 2026 where women are out earning men in a lot of fields and yet they are still expecting a man to show investment and pay for everything because "thats what men do" yea but men did that in a completely different culture climate and i feel like this should be better elaborated upon with someone whos a bit better with words and data. I personally think the person who should pay is the person who asked whomever out but after its been awhile you can decide amongst yourselves who pays just what i think 🤷🏾‍♂️

Edit: just got to the 20:40 mark okay at least compromise was considered

Marriage is dead. No-fault divorce killed it.
Dating is dead. The foodie call killed it.
Approaching is dead. Creep-shaming and Me 2 killed it.
And you really want me to believe that the red-pill praxeology (it is neither a philosophy or a movement) is the problem?

I think men should set a standard of especially early one
1 step forward Man ( I as the man will Initiate and plan a date)
1 step forwards Woman (Initiate seeing the person again and plan the next date)
and so on and so forth till one of yall is like yeah lets make this official or nah thanks Im good.

12:23 I really really wish people would stop acting like the worst thing that happens to guys is they get shamed and rejected. If that was it you would be able to sell "just ask her out" much easier. Kind of wrapped up in "cancelled" is closer to the penalties that can be put on men. You could lose your job or you could be black listed from your industry. There are still people who never got back into their industries after being cancelled. We have men who were kicked out of college and never got their degrees (and lost their tuition money). We also have slightly lower consequences that make it not worth the risk like getting banned from your gym. local grocery store or local hangout. And we have worse consequence like being dragged into the legal system and losing a bunch of money to legal fees, or straight up going to jail. There are men in jail right now for false accusations. I can name specific cases to, ones that don't even circulate on social media. Like a boy who was falsely accused by girls in high school just because they wanted to bully him. Or a guy who was arrested just because a woman saw him across the parking lot and thought he was ugly. She only got caught because she told someone else who ratted on her.

Point being #metoo gave women a loaded gun to use against men at any time with basically no repercussion. You're asking men to gamble on women they don't know and hope they're not the kind of women who would use that loaded gun. And given the number of women men have to ask out it makes it much more likely that men will encounter that kind of woman at some point.

I'm a dude and she looks amazing without makeup😍

I just when on a date last Tuesday
I pick her up from across town last min  cuz she asked which took me 50mins
Then we gotta go to where the date is another 30mins...
It was fun, we went rock climbing.
We had some dinner after.
And I go and drive her back to where she had me pick her up from.

Having to plan all of that and everything was exhausting frankly. She didn't make any part of the experience easy on me.
I set up another date and she said oh I'd love to but then says she's busy on the date I planned. So I suggest another one and she's busy that day too... She finally suggest a date and I say ok, I'll try and make that work. Plan the time and place.... and ask if she's down.... Crickets...
Date was planned for tomorrow.... clearly that's not happening.

Logan Ury always says give it 2 dates.... but it's like I didn't feel anything. And honesty I feel strung out. tbh.
