As a Swede its such a difference watching Viktor play for Sweden vs for Arsenal. One obvious difference is that the PL refs give him nothing, almost never do they blow the whistle when defenders are pulling his shirt, holding him and hanging on his back. International refs give him alot more calls.

The other obvious difference is that the Arsenal players simply ignore him, at all times. For Sweden all teammates are constantly looking for him and passing the ball, at Arsenal they do their absolute max to avoid passing him. For Sweden he averages 40 touches a game, Arsenal 10 a game.

Whats frustrating is that there seems to be no competition for the striker position, it doesnt matter if Havertz put up absolute stinker performances - he will still start the next one. Seems as if Havertz and Saka both have that immunity to being benched even when they play poorly. Viktor plays bad? Kai starts the next. Kai plays bad? Viktor starts the next, thats how it should be.

Can we just allow Gyokeres to play in his Sweden shirt for Arsenal? Just to see how that goes 😂

I feel we should talk about how poor Saka has been since he for back from the long injury.

If Sakas poor passing and poor shooting was done by Gyokeres yesterday he would have been crucified. Saka gets a pass.

Saka had 2 great chances assisted by gyokeres , one he tried to curl on the top corner but it was hit to the roof. Other at the end should have been buried, but his positioning and pace was bad and hitting straight at keeper.

Saka before injury would have nailed both.  All Saka has to do it 1. Take on full backs with more confidence 2. Put the cross in from cutting inside 3. Work on pace and confidence, as both has significant impact.

Finally, If Saka can do curlers like before, he is back to his best.

It's not surprising anymore but David raya made an absolutely fantastic save to keep it goalless and that pass where he drills it to the left is just astonishing. Along with odegaard and cala player of the season so far. Coyg let's hope for an absolute man city meltdown today.

Saka seems to have dropped into a comfort zone, no risks, hopefully he’ll get through it

Cant understand the moaning. We won we came back turned it around, what champions do.

I swear if Social Media was around the invincibles time, most (online) would complain we drawn to many games.

We dont need to score 4 or 5 goals. As long as we win. Sure you can critisize, but some act as we lost.

Havertz and Saka need some time on the bench. COYG

Max Dowman was outstanding for Arsenal whenever he plays. Arteta needs to play him more, atleast give 20 minutes.

Good to hear that you're in a warmer mood 😀 Charles great show mate love ❤️ from Perth Western Australia 🇦🇺 😊

Charles, the Saka misses are now starting to worry me. That chance at the end needs to hit the back of the net.

HIGH WATTAGE ⚡⚡⚡

The real Bruno ❤

I thought Noni did well! The frustration comes for the cheap give aways he does from time to time.

From a starting point I think he did well. If he can get a run of games I’m sure he’ll improve with the other bits

In a post game interview, Cali said they were not in sync because the international break and only two practices before the game…Kai starting is concerning…not 100% but MA put him in vs Victor or MM…we are in striker purgatory…

Saka and Havertz seem undroppable at the moment, maybe a bit of time on the bench may spark them into life. Dowman in for Saka, Merino for Havertz.

🎉4th call out in as many number of weeks 🎉 Thanks Charles.
On Madueke - I agree with your comments - it was a good performance. Looked better because of the contrast to Saka. But he did seem to lose his man for their goal. Very poor anticipation of danger.

Great watch Charles. The fact that even you as a fan, watching, weren't sure of Havertz fitness (assuming without conceding that, that accounts for his bad performance), don't you find it rather strange that it still wasn't enough a reason to deter Arteta from starting him ahead of Gyokeres or Merino? Wouldn't you agree that Arteta is "ruthless" with all the other players (Martinelli, Eze, Madueke et all) except when it comes to Havertz, Odegaard and Saka? So the argument in Saka and Odegaard finishing the game yesterday was that both Dowman and Eze couldn't have offered any improvement on their performance? What makes football (like most other sports) such a beloved game is that it is based on meritocracy, and the moment it stops being that, it becomes less likeable. Eze can make one mistake and be frozen out for months but it doesn't really matter how Havertz performs, he'll start the next match even when not fully fit. For anyone who wants to argue, Havertz's last good game was against Chelsea (check his performances against Villa, Sunderland and Brighton). Why argue when one can just wait 😒

10:51 It was still the game winning goal since it was the goal putting us up 0-1, Saka's penalty was "just" another goal adding some insurance/space.
