I am Li Hui, a psychological counselor.
My story may be somewhat similar to yours.
During my childhood, the most familiar voice was, "How excellent other people's children are!"; the most frequent judgment I received was, "You can't do this. Look at why others are so outstanding." In those years, I gradually felt like a burden—my ideas weren't recognized, my appearance wasn't praised, and my actions were always criticized. I carried timidity, inferiority, and self-doubt all the way to eighteen.
But growth begins with realizing, "I can be different."
During university, I strived to break free from the shackles of oppressive education and gradually rebuilt myself. I earned two master's degrees in medicine from Pavlov Medical University in St. Petersburg, Russia, started my own company, earned my first fortune, bought property and settled down overseas, published the world's first Chinese book about the Hermitage Museum, A Tour of the Hermitage Museum*, and became a million-follower blogger for *Rayli magazine, exploring more possibilities in life.
However, approaching thirty, I encountered a major turning point in my life: my father passed away from illness, I became a mother of two, and my family relationships descended into chaos. That was the first time I truly sought psychological counseling—and my therapist caught me as I was falling. She helped me slow down, stop, and truly experience that psychology can indeed support a person.
So, in my thirties, I made a crucial decision: to give up my medical career and become a full-time psychotherapist.
Over the past decade, I've established my own psychotherapist organization, diligently working as a therapist and accumulating tens of thousands of hours of case experience. From a novice therapist to a seasoned therapist, then to a supervisor and trainer—I've walked this path step by step, witnessing change time and time again.
Now, I hope to connect with more people who aspire to growth through the internet. I'm willing to walk alongside you, learning psychology to touch the neglected voices deep within, heal old wounds, achieve genuine psychological growth, and move towards a more free and serene life.
I'm skilled at handling various life issues such as work stress, emotional distress, family relationships, marital conflicts, and parent-child communication. I also regularly share practical content on coping with depression and anxiety, marital repair, psychological testing, and parenting techniques.
If you also yearn for a personal transformation, welcome to subscribe to my channel. Here, we not only learn psychology—but also how to love ourselves and how to live authentically.
