10:49 they will never, there are entire villages of generations of families dedicated to sending atleast one man from each household to the military. being in the military is seen as very honorable job.
I was in Kashmir and the every soldier there had a different kind of AK model, I was told by an officer that its basically just random luck which one you get.
The Russian multirole fighters will be escorted by French interceptors while British strike aircraft, accompanied by Indian multiroles, supress the target before US helicopters strike them so a Russian transport helicopter can unload the troops
The BSF is actually a police force under the Ministry of Home Affairs of India. They're kinda like the US border patrol, only they're more militarised and work closely with the Indian Army and do combined ops with them. Many Indians also mistake them to be an Army regiment.
I am 100% sure most of the people here. They don't understand Indian terrains.
In Galvan, they use sticks because there is a treaty between India and China not to carry firearms for patrolling to reduce/remove casualty, which might ultimately escalate to full-blown war. Unfortunately, the Chinese army circumvented this by barb wiring those sticks in galwan.
Tar desert is one of the biggest destert, and camels are used by BSF for patrolling the borders because it is easy to get to places.

The govt controlled Military industrial complex is a nightmare in india, given the infamous Indian beauracracy , things move at a glacial pace, add that the Army keeps changing their requirements very often, and delays happen not in years but in decades, thibgs are changing a bit with private companies entering the defense sector.
The footage you showed of men patrolling borders on camels is not of the Indian Army. The army does not do that. Its a paramilitary central police force called BSF ( border security force). They are very much involved in dealing with insurgents but do not belong to the actual Indian army
As some one whose family members are from Indian army, your analysis is so much on point. Everything was hush-hush before and bad performance used to be covered up. But since 2018-19, there has been a lot of improvement. Many things are/have started going in right directions. But still a lot of organizational debt. P.S.: The biggest issue right now is the officers shortage. They are overworked like hell.
