Was this the best home theater demo at CEDIA Expo 2026? We stepped inside Sound Room 10 (better known as SR10) to experience a complete luxury home cinema featuring ASCENDO, AcustiMOD, Christie, madVR Labs, Moovia, Seymour-Screen Excellence, and StormAudio.
After building an award-winning theater valued at more than $1 million for CEDIA 2025, the SR10 team returned with a different challenge: recreate that cinematic experience with a system reportedly four times less expensive. The result was a 9.8.4-channel immersive home theater designed to show how carefully selected audio, video, acoustic, processing, and seating components can work together.
The SR10 system included:
ASCENDO immersive speakers and THE18 SUB PASSIVE VENTED subwoofers
ASCENDO’s new DSP4-6602 DSP/amplifier
StormAudio Fusion 20 processing and amplification
AcustiMOD acoustic treatment
A Christie home theater projector
Seymour-Screen Excellence Enlightor-Neo acoustically transparent screen
madVR Envy Core MK2 video processing
Moovia Marbella cinema seating
