Transalpina offered us one of the most unpredictable days so far.
We set off with the idea of a relaxed ride through the mountains, in good weather and with spectacular views. Shortly after, however, the clouds gathered above us and we ended up going through torrential rain, storms and even hail. After each bout of bad weather, the sun would reappear, completely transforming the landscape.
It was a day in which we went through all the moods: from the joy of the spectacular roads, to moments when we were looking for shelter and carefully watching the sky. Exactly the kind of adventure that makes every kilometer memorable.
