I planned to paint Mt. Rainier along the White River.  Arriving at my painting location I saw another view I wanted to paint. I chose to make this a 1 Hour Painting Challenge before turning around to paint Mt. Rainier.

Come along as I explore the location, make decisions in the field, and work through the process of creating a landscape painting outdoors.

One of the things I love about plein air painting is studying directly from nature and observing the nuances of color while sharing my experiences with my audience.

I’ve spent years plein air painting and I’m excited to finally start sharing more outdoor painting videos and process content here on YouTube.
