As someone who’s been Taiga’s friend for years now, it really means a lot to have someone defend them and actually do research into a topic.

What's most ironic here is the fact Taiga kicked off one of his mods for flirting with minors on Discord (back when Taiga was SFW VTuber) and they cancelled Taiga for loli. Whole cancell culture and trying to flex virtue and moral superiority seems to be favourite past time of people who watch Hunchback of Notre Damme, and think about how judge Claude Frollo is kinda a dick (hearing only chorus during Hellfire song and not parts where he sings about being better than "weak, vulgar common crowd". Fucking hell, man.

And damage done to his reputation is persistant. After first cancellation happened he was suddenly shunned by wider VTuber community. Lost many collab chances, people stopped communicating, networking became impossible and their growth on Twitch became stagnant.

The problem here is that the "supposed millionaire" fully expected Taiga to give up his freedom and dignity to become their bedroom servant.
Why else would they have given him such a large sum of money?

And that's why you don't just take someone's word for it - Nux practically piledrived Taiga because his friends don't know the concept of blackmail. And instead of saying he'll make a follow up video, he just mentions it on stream. If Taiga really did read Nux's messages word for word, he hasn't actually said "I'm sorry" wich is like the bare fucking minimum
