Itachi with obito makes the most sense to me because obito promised not to destroy the village and pain won’t uphold the same deal. Pain will have to invade the hidden leaf for Naruto at some point and since he has grudges against the hidden leaf will probably destroy it again. Which completely goes against itachi. Itachi would help obito until the perfect moment to turn on him

Sasori was totally loyal to the Akatsuki just as Kisame, so he would've always stayed close with Pain.

Trading Itachi and Getting Hidan

Obito: This is the worst trade deal in the history of trade deals possibly ever

Kisame fighting Kakuzu makes thematic sense, Kisame was embraced by his village and leaders for killing people who trusted him. However, Kisame never let go of the bonds he made, so the lesson he learned was that the world will always trample on his loyalties but he'll keep his word til the end. Kakuzu is the opposite after being betrayed by his village for failing, he no longer saw the point in loyalty to people and seek only the materialistic needs. Which is why he ripped out the elders' hearts, to truly retake his lost autonomy from those that once controlled him. In short, Kisame is the man Kakuzu's village demanded him to be and the man he failed to become. To Kisame, Kakuzu is the same type of man that upholds the backstabbing and self centered ideology corrupting the shinobi world into a world of lies.

damn that intro for each akatsuki member was 🔥🔥🔥

i can see a scenario of  Itachi not participating in the civil war and just tries to kill the rest of the team that wins

Deidara gets no love 😂

I'm impressed with how you stepped up the editing and audio quality. Very nice, my guy.

The truth is interesting, although it also occurs to me that a Civil War between Akatsuki could occur for well, something curious and it would be the incompetence in capturing the Jinchūriki and Bijū, and that right there Tobi comes out as a solution and with a more efficient leader in his task of capturing the Bijū while Pain and Konan are incompetent, and that it would be better to follow the Masked One who would promise him the Dream World. It would also be another option to see the Akatsuki face each other, that they have not been able to catch a single Jinchūriki and Tobi takes advantage of it to see Nagato weak.

So glad you finally did a deeper dive of this!

Obito, Zetsu, Kisame, and Sasori
vs.
Pain, Konan, Kakuzu, Hidan
are the pairings I think would make the most sense. I left out Itachi and Deidara on purpose. Itachi could go either way depending on the circumstances since he doesn't really trust either leader (that being said, he DID rig Amaterasu in Sasuke's eye to try and kill Obito), and I honestly think Deidara is petty enough to just join the side Itachi isn't on just so he can fight him.

The rest make sense for the most part. Obito/Zetsu/Kisame and Pain/Konan are canon teams, and Kakuzu is about that $$$ and would side with Pain's world domination plot. Sasori could be talked into joining Obito if Obito opens up about Eye of the Moon, as I could see Sasori wanting to trap himself in a dream world where he could be with his parents again. Don't know how everyone's favorite Jashin worshipper would feel about that tho. He's kinda content so long as he can do his rituals. Wouldn't say it really matters whose team he's on since, let's be honest, Hidan is pretty weak and arrogant, only carried by his immortality that makes him a good partner for Kakuzu.

Deidara's Tsukuyomi is so perfect 😂

10:11 It sounds like Pain just fired Obito from the Akatsuki 😂

Hidan could've used guru guru's body,but i don't think he would've accepted

Amazing video.

Great video and channel. Always love more Naruto theorycrafting and other content

I think if its ever a civil war it would be pain, konan, sassori, diedera, kakuzu, hidan vs obito, zetzu, itachi, kisame

That last one is crazy XD I will say it could be made more interesting if at this point Orochimaru's Edo Tensei is better than in part 1, but not as good as Kabuto's in the war, so we have a Madara who isn't nerfed to oblivion, but is nerfed just enough to make the fight competitive and interesting. Like maybe he can't access his Perfect Soosano for example and doesn't have extra Hashirama cells added on and whatnot.

Good ol Hidan! Always dying first in these videos!

Great video as always
