As someone who also lives in a sorta village, when I heard "family owns an island" "mom's coconut farm", I was like 'oh she rich rich'

it was her 60th birthday, it makes sense now cos that's a really big deal in Philippines. 1st, 7th, 18th, 60th

Rae's mom plastering huge pics of her in front of thier house is so funny

The kubo on the rooftop is so filipino and rich kind of thing. So cozy.

The Katinko box is the most thoughtful and most Vinson gift he can ever give to your mom

you've spoiled your mom so much that you don't know how grand her birthday party is. It's such a fever dream, congrats!

Although rae isn't used to this kind of life, i'm kinda impressed how she handled and respects everyone. That's our streamer!

LOVE THIS VIDEO: The Filipino culture is like a heartbeat I can’t live without—it's truly addictive, and I miss the Philippines every single day. I've traveled across the globe, but nothing compares to the warmth, connection, and spirit of 'Kapwa' that the Philippines uniquely holds. It’s a feeling of unity, of love, and of genuine community that I passionately share with anyone who will listen here in the U.S., though words hardly capture its essence. To my fellow Americans, it's almost impossible to describe that sense of belonging and kindness that overflows from every Filipino you meet. I find myself counting down the days, waiting eagerly for the moment I can return and immerse myself once again in the country that feels like home. Mahal kita, Pilipinas. 🇵🇭

She’s keeping up with her New Year’s resolutions yayyyyy

your mom looks so happy, this was probably everything to her

I was worried that there's fans in front of Rae's mom's place. But Rae explained the whole village is all of mom's relatives, then that makes sense why Rae is very welcoming to the fans. Probably distant relatives or friends of relatives.
Hope fans who arent from the village doesnt impose Rae's family

it’s a good idea to wear a rash guard when in the water. it’ll help from sunburn instead of shlopping sun lotion every hour and it’ll help from jelly fish stings. also getting a “travel life vest” the ones you wear deflated but when needed, just blow through the tube. when collapsed, it’s folded thin and doesn’t occupy space. in the Philippines, when traveling to far islands, life vests aren’t available or mandatory, so it’s good to have your own personal vest. last but not least, use a boonie hat or bush hat. the brim is 360 degrees to protect not only the front of the face, but also the back of your neck. stay safe!

that vlog was over too soon!!! i love mama rae “look at the camera rachell” for the content

I’m so jealous when I saw this the first time. The girl in skirt is my cousin and I showed it to my mother and she said when she saw Rae’s mom she recognized her, my mom and Rae’s aunt used to hangout at that same house and we might be distant relatives 🥹🥹

I wasn't expecting Rae's roots were located somewhere in Eastern Visayas. I literally understood every word the ppl from the background were saying, definitely a widely spoken dialect(Cebuano or known as Binisaya/Bisaya) to Filipinos

as a filipino I find this so entertaining and so accurate to filipino culture, I can see how they're culture shocked but I'm so proud that they're willing to experience it!

8:24 “look at the camera look at the camera” Didn’t know Rae’s mom was born to be a YouTuber🤣🤣

your mom is the REAL ONE with this 4:01 luv it

4:42 Beauty runs in the family I see! Happy 60th bday Valkymom!! 💝

2:05 tita standing in the background just watching is a vibe
