TMM: "Lower yourself to their level."
Me at the low level: "I see yes."

Imagine u just started playing ranked. Your learned your combos you a ready to go and than you meet TheMainMan with his Tekken god prime Kazuya on beginner ranks using you as a Tutorial for youtube xD

"Nothing tells you that I'm a high level player" wave dashing is a dead giveaway brother

Never understood the hate for beginners. People act like the first time they played a fighting game they were high level gods. Everyone starts somewhere. I commend TMM on his constructive comments and even occasional praise of newer players.

A complete series on ranked from beginner to tekken god prime would be awesome

its so refreshing to hear a streamer compliment their opponent when they do something well. Respect to TMM for setting a good example

The fact that he faced 2 Zafina is bonkers tbh

Big advice is to take the lose and rematch. Even if your going to lose the rematch take that match as a learning experience.

How to actually play Kazuya vs low ranks:

- df2 at round start and whenever you want
- spam ff2 and auto electric
- db4 and hellsweep whenever its your turn and you think they are freezing
- try always to use 112(hit confirm the 2) as a block punish
- Spam your 1+2 throw, especially after heat engagers or heat dashes( on block)
- sprinkle in low jab into WS1+2 If you feel pressured
- Use f2 or activate heat against pressure as well
- if you get a knockdown spam ff4 multiple times to check if they techroll
- Just once or twice per match use uf4444
- Learn 1 easy reliable combo and wallcombo
- Have fun

Thank you, main man.

Too many people in the community are coaching people wrong. Telling them to try to play like a TGO at 1dan, telling them to mind their frames and learn kbd, and they lose their minds when I tell them to do what they get away with at their level.

You can't go from 1dan to TGO is one step by imitation. It's a progression. Today's winning strat is tomorrow's bad habit. No shortcut.

TMM: "I'm gonna use this string in these matches against beginner players."

Also TMM: uses the hell out of that string in a match against Arslan Ash

I'm a Zafina main, I've played abou 200 matches now, and haven't run into a single Zafina... And you run into two in your first ten matches!

I can't say how good this advice was. I have never played any version of Tekken before and just picked up Tekken 8. Did my first ever match online as Yoshimitsu against Azucena after doing story as Yoshi. I had absolutely no idea what to do as she was running circles round me. But I just patiently waited, blocked, and looked at what I could do. No button spam. Lost the first two rounds but then won the final three by seeing where I could attack her in her spam. I'm still rubbish but you were spot on.

10/10 thank you for the advice!

Honestly I think it would be so Cool to the see the whole rank up process like this here on youtube. Would be super unique to see some one as good as you through the ranks explainging at different ranks what to look out for. Great job!

Beginner combo of 3 electrics😂 This was such an amazing tutorial, I'm a Reina player in yellow ranks so I'll take anything I can get!

holy moly im better than mr swe confirmed ( i am green and he is blue )

After that Hwoarang landed the final blow at 25:54, the following silence and your facial expression told me that you were about to ruin this guy’s day with the next round… lol and you definitely did not disappoint

3:49 We all had no idea how true this was post season 3

MF you played my cousin in your first T8 ranked lmaooooo

an idea for a coaching series with guests from chat/content creators, 1 on 1 sessions & how they can improve at that certain rank blue, green orange ranks
