Broadcast quality was almost better back then ... visually and in the booth

This was the beginning of the end for golden era of mx. I swear the production crews/quality from back then were better than it is today 13y later. The track layout designs back then were way more creative than today, as well as overall conditions just way gnarlier as well. F man I miss this so bad

Ryan was crazy on a bike, How can we not say he was one of the best to ever race? Kid was insane.

biggest thing i miss is the announcer ralph, That dude made the races so enjoyable

Homestly if villapoto wasnt racing that year would by far be the most balanced in skill and make for a really good championship

I can’t imagine the pressure these guys are under, especially RV and then Dungey afterward... and to be under that amount of pressure and deliver year in and year out!!!!! AMAZING MEN!

RV was sooooo good. He was the complete package.

To think this was Tomacs first Daytona on a 450. Now he's won 8 freaking times at this track.
