Have you ever wondered what it takes to become a Walt Disney World bus driver? As a current Disney bus driver, I'm sharing the five biggest things you should know before applying—from earning your CDL and completing training to working late-night shifts, starting out part-time, and why I believe it's one of the most rewarding jobs I've ever had.

This isn't a recruitment video or a complaint video. It's an honest, behind-the-scenes look at what it's really like to drive buses at Walt Disney World from someone who's doing the job every day.

Whether you're thinking about applying, curious about how Disney transportation works, or just enjoy learning what goes on behind the scenes, I hope this video gives you a better understanding of what the job is really like.

Felt you did a great job in presenting this information.
You have a gift in "narration" as well as presenting the information clearly and in an organized manner.
Look forward to more.
God Bless!

The most important thing to know is you have to live in Florida during the 7 miserable months of the year and the 3 really hot months.

8pm-3am is an awesome shift,That alone would make me consider being a bus driver at Disney,is that a shift that people always get rid off? Never really thought about being a bus driver but that and the fact that I live 3 minutes behind Magic Kingdom and know all the roads at Disney like the back of my hand makes me consider becoming a Disney bus driver.

We were thinking about working there, hubs doing ride maintenance and me driving but life happened and I can't drive dot anymore so we still visit and have fun.

I retired, moved near Disney, I took a part time custodial position with Disney to get my foot in the door. After a year, I transferred to Hollywood Studios, working Muppets and Indian Jones Spectacular. Went full time and retired when I turned 70. Big mistake. I miss working at Disney. Best job and people I ever worked with and for.

Hey Ickey, could you do a video about the top 5 jobs at Disney you would do if bus driver was not an option? Maybe it’s front desk at Polynesian or monorail pilot or ride operator at Tower of Terror…anyway, just a fun idea for a video in the future.

This is something to consider. I plan on retiring from my state job in two years. And working for Disney during my twilight years is something I'd love to do.
