Enjoyed meeting your friend.  Especially liked seeing you smile for maybe the first time in your introductions.😊

you should make a video showing us your bottle collection someday

Hello Ciara! We love Tom and if says you're cool..you are cool!❤

Clara was so careful and gentle and Tom jumps into the pit and the dirt starts flying! Fun to watch you two.

Your mystery battery rods are sharpening stones for scythe. The fancy chamber pot and pitcher likely had a matching wash basin to match. They were sold as sets. Great dig!

Interesting fact re Singer … Washington Singer, son of Isaac was a significant benefactor of Exeter University in the UK, and there is a prominent building named in his honour on campus. About 40 years ago the 1931 building underwent a refurbishment and the old flooring of English Oak was due to be ripped out and destroyed. Ever the opportunist and not one to let good timber go to waste, my husband and a team of mates spent 4 days carefully removing as much as they could. A few years later, we got to build our home. There is oak everywhere - floors, door linings and frames, kitchen cabinets, furniture …. You name it - even a Hepplewhite style break fronted bookcase - all of it made by my husband, David John Yeo from timber courtesy of the philanthropy of the Singer family, which graced the halls of learning in its first life and is now enjoying a second life in the domestic setting of an English home. The name Singer is looked on with affection and is all around us in this house. Isn’t that amazing?

At 23:00 you found several "sticks" of something you thought might have been carved. They looked like sharpening stones that were used on scythes. Connected with the files you found, it looks like the resident might have been a metal worker of sorts.

Who knew watching someone dig a hole for old glass would be so addicting? Ha! Thanks Tom! You are uncovering and preserving history. Great work.

Tom, beautiful water pitcher and chamber pot.😀

Your channel is Awesome buddy. Thank you for sharing your digs and your fined's
Would really love to get a hold it one of those old hutches

Ha Ciara, Great to see you on the video.  Keep your eyes on Tom, I've seen him dig a hole of what seems to be all the way into China, and disappear for weeks on end, but when he come up he has some quite amazing items to show us.

It was fun watching you teach Ciara how to dig bottles.  I'd love to see more of her if she's amenable.  And of course I always love your videos!

Hi Ciara Reckless nice to meet you hope you find the time to help Tom on his digs again.🎉❤

Thumbs up on having Ciara!

I bet local museums are going nuts over these finds!   Great work!

I have a Merck"s 1899 Medical Manual.  Borolyptol was a concentrated antiseptic.  When diluted used for external wounds, cuts and scrapes.

Hi Ciara glad to  see you helping Tom out🍶😀

That ink bottle looks like a gem. Very pretty

That’s so nice of you to let her help you dig!😊
