“Lurking at the police station” they really were looking for anything to arrest him for.

IF I were this judge I would be extremely pissed off.

If he was smart, he'd seek counsel to sue whomever is responsible.

Lost 38 hours of his life, lost one of his jobs and not being able to pay a fine that is due that day because they have him locked up? Somebody needs to lose their job and he should be able to sue for damages. This was not a mess up. Somebody is trying to screw him up on purpose and they need to be investigated.

So the cops forget to fingerprint him and then he wrongly gets picked up because the judge sends him to fix the cops' screw up. The Dunning-Kruger effect says that the more incompetent somebody is, the less likely they are to realize it. It looks like these cops are a prime example.

You should immediately get an attorney and sue them for wrongful imprisonment. Maybe that'll help with a little bit of financial settlement.

Why is the cop who arrested not there to answer

@jamesdisalvo814 2 months ago

If I'm that judge I'd seriously consider throwing my hands up and dismissing all charges since neither the cops nor the courts can figure out what they are.

How can you be banned from a public police station

Glad the kid was able to sit still with mouth closed long enough to let the judge save him on the bogus custody.

@tomdecuca3627 3 months ago

This is too bad. Nobody cared that this kid lost his freedom.

The way to make sure the person who made the assumption does not do it again is to make them serve the same time and write an apology to this man.

So basically ignorant cop took away his freedom for 2 days bcuz he followed the court order. Those cops face 0 consequences for that. Just disappointing
