"You keep cutting out, j!"

Vod playback is perfect

I HATE THEM SO MUCH LOL

The Gilbert Gottfried was awesome...couldn't wait for Gay Anarchist Asian to speak each time.

His family immigrated from Vietnam to give their kids a better life and their son is so entitled and privileged, that he just gives his parents the finger and is like “Yeah, Anarchy rocks!”

"She's not running, she's waddling!" Just another step towards penguin daddy truly being canon
In this iteration anyway

I love how jlongbone's wifi kept dying because it realized it was being used to read a shitty comic lol

I hate how they try to act like Starfire is the privileged one when she was literally sold into slavery by her own family where she was abused and r*ped for years. Meanwhile, Mandy is a super rich kid with a loving family, great friend, and freedom to do as she pleases where her biggest problems is taking a test. Yes Mandy, so oppressed. Mom could never understand what it is like to struggle.

Gilbert Godfrey's voice impression reading dialogue of some asian teen was the best thing in this LMFAO 😂😂😂

Mandy smashed into a bloody pulp with Starfire standing over her, pointer fingers touching her own temples
"Think, Mandy, think! How are you supposed to have a future if you don't go to college?!"

Claire didn't do anything wrong when she took that picture; she's allowed to take pictures with Superheroes/Celebrities, Mandy was just being an entitled brat

“You know nothing of France, you no France knowin bitch” has got to be one of my favorite lines just cause of how he says it

What does Claire see in Mandy? She seems miserable to be around at all times.

Behold, the manga killer. Truly the pinnacle of American entertainment. They’ll fly off the shelves, these books. The Japanese won’t know what hit them.

I feel like this story would've been better if it was the child of Beast Boy and Raven, who ended up with Beast Boy's green skin tone as well as animal features, making her an outcast, instead of looking like her gothic beauty of a mother. It would make more sense, than merely the daughter of one of the most joyful yet caring characters. That and it would be nice to see Beast Boy bond with his daughter over their shared differences, which would lead to Raven trying to understand her daughter and a new villain targeting the family. This would feel more natural, than I am not Starfire with how the daughter is just bitter 24/7, at least to me it would feel more natural.

So they’re telling me the most empathetic and understanding character, who has known Dick and Raven (both edgier characters) for 20 years, doesn’t know how to handle her angsty daughter. Night wing might be the father which makes it weird that he’s never tried giving advice to Mandy about disengaging from a parental figure when he did that himself. Even if he isn’t the dad, you would think the Titans would be more Involved. Starfire should be able to help her daughter in this regard as well, because she felt overshadowed by her sister for many years. Heck her sister is in the book and they couldn’t even properly bring in that potential bonding moment. Starfire was butchered as a mom. She would be a great mother who doesn’t feel disassociated like she does here. Her personality seems airheaded towards her daughter’s feelings even though starfire is one of the most perceptive characters. She talks in broken English even though she has been on earth speaking the language for at least 20 years. Idk they butchered starfire.

"French people are sophisticated. They read and eat pastries "

Am I the only one who have a problem with that sentence?

I don't know why, but BurstAngel15 is making Starfire sexier than she already is.

How is this character remotely likeable? She spends half the book crying, throwing tantrums, and running away from her problems.

I kind of feel like they could’ve swapped Starfire out with any other bright/fun/hot female superhero and the story would be pretty much the same (i.e. “I Am Not Wonder Woman”, “I Am Not Power Girl”, “I Am Not Black Canary”, etc.)

I think it's lame as hell to have her friend have to explain that the picture with the Titans was the bully's idea. It would've been marginally more complex if Mandy had to just accept that not everything's about her, and her friend is allowed to take interest in other people whose job it is to regularly save lives. Maybe even, I don't know, have Mandy apologize, not the other way around.

Dog water.

Why does Mandy think Doug is a doche? The few panels we saw him he complimented Mandy, praised Starfire, took an interest in Mandy’s schooling, and offered to help Starfire carry dinner
