Switzerland’s greatest Mr.Olympia hopeful, JP Fux was standing on top of the bodybuilding world in the late 1990’s before it all came tumbling down..,. Literally! Years later we catch up with him living comfortably in the desert of Palm Springs enjoying his new life as a Fitness Coach and Cat Rescuer.

One of the few totally honest guys. Much respect.

He's so honest very refreshing. Normally Shawn Ray would be the honest one but he did it for him 😂

Jean Pierre called me back after I tore my quad tendon, to give me some insight on how his recovery went and what to expect. Although we had different injuries, he was incredibly helpful, genuine and cool. Great guy.

Would be cool to see old pics in between, from the years you are talking about.

What a great story teller Jean Pierre seems to be, I’m glad he seemingly has a good life after all that tragedy. I actually saw him up close in one of my own contests back in the nineties somewhere 97 I guess in Holland where he did a guest appearance during the break. My god I remember not one person in that audience wasn’t looking when he came on… he was huge, humongous 😮 honesty not the most beautiful shape (off season) but will never forget it (I think he was around 150 kg at that moment).

People forget how good Fux was. If he had only truly understood how to peak for his shows, he would have been at the very top of the sport. The dude was absolutely massive...and he looked really good. It sucks that the biggest memory a lot of people have about him is when he was at his lowest sporting moment with that squatting accident. Dude had amazing genetics. Bodybuilding is a crazy sport where you can do all of the hard work perfect,.but then a tiny mistake when trying to peek for a show can mess you up. The end result is what truly matters as far as the sporting side of the sport goes..and that end result can be messed up by something as simple as cutting out salt too soon.

Wow finally such an honest and classy guy, admits the faults of taking PEDs and the horror stories. Great interviewee without a doubt. Glad he's doing well.

I'll never forget waiting for him when he was guest posing in Seattle for the emerald cup I dropped him off at the grocery store and waited outside in the car for a ridiculously long time. I finally went inside and found him with two or three shopping carts Iof food for the weekend!!🤔😂 glad to hear he's working with the animal shelter that's an admirable! Good guy!
