1:35～ 私は地元ではないですが、福岡の地下鉄や私鉄は、約２０年前から（2000年代後半から～）交通系ICカードに対応してますよ（東京Suicaや大阪のICOCA、そのほか日本中どこで買ったICカードでも使えます、沖縄だけ別かな）。福岡地下鉄、私鉄は交通系ICカードに１００％の駅で対応しているけど。・・。
私もその頃から福岡にかなりの回数行っていますが、他地域や地元の交通系ICカードかモバイルSuica（携帯）使っていて、一度も現金使ったことないですね。日本人が国内旅行する時、どこに行ってもほぼ交通系ICカードかモバイル（携帯）を使い、現金は使わないでしょう。面倒なので。
外国人旅行者向けには、VISAなどクレジットカードも福岡の地下鉄、私鉄で対応しているし・・ちょっとわざと現金を使っているようで変でした。動画のネタであれば仕方ないですが。
券売機は、外国人の方が、短期間の旅行であれば、ICカードを買いたくなく、またクレジットカードも使いたくない人の為に、昔の券売機をそのまま残しているのではないでしょうか。
撤去にも費用がかかるので、観光の為にも残しているかもしれません。

right up until last week it was unbearable. I like to think of myself as strong against the heat but jesus, I was dying out there on my bicycle
also, as someone who's been in Fukuoka 20 years, I strongly recommend car rental and getting around itoshima, karatsu, all the islands around there, takeo, yobuko --- well, the list goes on. those places are absolutely amazing, esp around hanami season.
