What a comfort it is to have somewhere to return to
at the end of a tiring day.

Not because that place is always perfect,
but because there is a light to welcome me after a long day.

We each cross our own seas,
and sometimes lose our way,
but at the end of all those journeys, there is somewhere to return to.

Home
need not be anything grand.
Simply knowing there is a place to return to
is enough to carry us through the long journey.

We may not yet know what tomorrow holds,
but just having somewhere to rest our weary hearts for a while
gives us the strength to keep going.
