I know the talent between what we have now vs what we had to end last year is pretty different, but it's getting harder every week to not view Morris as an upgrade to Saleh.  The creativity in playcalling has been such a breath of fresh air despite the injuries. If the defense can get healthy down the stretch, and Lynch can make an impactful trade, I'm confident this will be a great to elite championship caliber defense to end the year.

Greenlaw looked so good in this game.

Love the variety of blitzes

10:07 can we also appreciate Waitman  the punter booting this 70+ yards and sky high so the gunner can create that turnover

I'm really loving this defense.

School is in sessions faithful, enjoy being 4-0!

this reminds me of the times when opposing teams were afraid of the 49ers.  Not so much Montana and Rice, but Lott and Hicks

As always - clear, expert, enjoyable analysis and the best Niners content out there. Much respect and appreciation.

Upton Stout is an absolute demon. He’s gonna be a Niner for years.

HOW TF WAS I NOT ALREADY SUBSCRIBED TO YOU 🔥 been watching for a minute, can't believe I didn't hit tha button

Anotha week, anotha great breakdown! LFG 9ers!

GREAT AS ALWAYS!!!

Love the videos, the biggest Niners rival is, without a doubt, Injuries.

1:28 Watch greenlaw😭

Great breakdown. Saw the 2nd half of the Niners after watching the Valkyries dismantle the LV Aces at Chase. Fun day.

Was it just me imagining, or was Purdy often throwing the ball towards Evans' feet rather than up in the air in this game (to ensure that he doesn't get hit in the ribs after the catch)? I think on one instance he even threw it away to an incompletion down near Evans' feet rather than to him, because there were two defenders waiting to pounce after the catch.

I absolutely love Purdy's moves, when he rolls out to the left. The ability to not only square up with a defender surging in, but to make one or two hopp-steps backwards, while immediately being ready to release, is astonishing.
I haven't seen such fluid movement elswhere - not with such regularity and precision. Might call it the "Purdy pass" and include it into the practice manual for future QBs.

12:01 These types of plays from Brock are some of my favorites, and I think he might genuinely be the best in the league at them. There are plenty of QBs who are good at scrambling to get out of trouble, even some who are better runners than Brock. But I don't think there's anyone who can scramble away from pressure, still keep his eyes downfield while running literal circles around defenders, and find a receiving target instead of just taking off and running all the time. Probably the best example was that amazing scramble with the TD pass to Juice in the Bears game last year, but there are tons of examples.

He's just so good at kind of subconsciously sensing and maneuvering around defenders, all without hindering his main focus on finding receivers.

They sure did didn’t they! Go 9ers! Let’s go!

This was a battle of ex teammates. Dre Breenlaw, Huf, and Mike McGlinchey. I also think Waitman’s  punt was more impressive than the fumble.
